I don't know much about the TCU team other than it returns a lot of starters. They are obviously very talented but do you think we can beat them? Would like to hear from people that have seen them play

Based on the number of teams playing I'd say 50%.

Not to be a dick, but it sounds a bit defeatist when you ask if you think your team has a "Chance"! I mean it's not like LSU is an unranked non power 5 team...NO! We're talking about arguably the best baseball program in America over the last quarter century returning nearly every position player and 2 of the best pitchers in the SEC/Nation.
Not to mention it's BASEBALL; anyone can win on any given day!

I'm asking for someone who has seen TCU play to evaluate the chances of winning. That's not defeatist. All of you tards that down voted can suck my left nut

Well, they are just as highly touted as LSU so 50% is probably a good number.

I haven't seen them play this year but I sure did last year and they return most of their team, esp their pitching.

I understand your doubt as they are an outstanding team. the thing is, their fans are experiencing the same doubt as LSU is an outstanding team. in reality, the results of the game are almost meaningless in the context of an entire season. the winner of this game will be the team that plays error free and gets timely hits in addition to great pitching. in baseball anything can happen in a game to cause a team to win (or lose) including close calls by the ump.

in other words, don't go thinking we're the greatest if we win or we're the worst if we don't.

They have a couple of studs in their lineup. Keep them from going nuts and I like LSU's chances.

LSU can beat TCU. TCU can beat LSU. Lange pitching gives us a good chance assuming we play error free baseball. That is obvious. I know we have a lot of veterans on our team, but this is a good test on the road against a top5 team. Almost a SR or WS feeling to it. Good experience win or lose. Helps SOS.
