Chances are very high Herman and Jimbo will not be immediately available

BOTH FSU and Houston strong contenders for college football playoffs...
Might have to wait until early to mid January...

Oh so now we blame Miles for being hired and given extensions and a huge buy out?

Idiots run the show.

so?

if Houston doesn't join the Big 12, they won't pay as much as larger schools.. and at Houston he can't afford 1 loss. he can afford 1 loss elsewhere.

Chances are also high that both drop 1 and don't make the playoff.

Even better scenario: Houston goes undefeated and still doesn't make playoff. Bama, Clemson, Michigan, Texas all go undefeated and make playoff leaving Houston out.

UGA hired Kirby Smart last year and he was in the n.c. game.

Miles contract drops to 8 million buy out after Jan. 1.

Perfect timing.

I was going to reply with no sh!t...then thought why waste time.

Then the subject wording made me think you and your fellow rantards really are clueless. Did you honestly think your collective bitching would get Miles fired this week (or mid season) and we could then hire either of those (1 I wouldn't want, the other so costly it won't happen) immediately? Talk about dumb f*cks!

I grew up in Houston, I mean come on...

it's a great job for coaching getting their feet wet...

Beyond that, it will never be anything more than a stepping stone for real coaches with bright futures.
