Super-athlete comparison.

We sadly didn't get to see Chad do his thing due to the wreck but consider this:

Chad played safety and Bo was an RB. RB's are high profile.

Chad made huge plays from safety including the JPW strip sack which is why we have a 2007 BCS trophy.

Chad was held at the LOS against Arkansas and from a dead stop after breaking the hold ran down Darren McFadden when McFadden had a 10 yard head start. McFadden is probably one of the fastest RBs the SEC has ever seen and Chad ran him down like he was standing still until he caught a noncall clip.

He then showed up with little pitching experience and threw major league worthy closer stuff and won the CWS.

You're comparing Chad Jones to Bo Jackson?

Take off the P&G glasses. I love Chad Jones, but he wasn't even on the same planet as Bo.

Hold up.

Being handed a baseball and instantly throwing major league closer stuff is infinitely more difficult than being a slugger.

Being a defensive player in football is not going to get the glory that a running back is going to get.

Comparing two sport athletes in college, CJ has a case.

Chad Jones was a decent football player. Not a great one. Not a top ten safety at LSU even. He returned kicks and students loved him. He had a few weeks of a baseball career. Bo had commercials. He dominated two sports his entire life.

See the difference.

Patrick Peterson was probably the best athlete we've ever had. Odell is up there too, hate him or not, he's extremely gifted. Bo in is a class of maybe 5 athletes ever.
