Don't get me wrong. I'm just as much an LSU fan as the next guy but what is Chad Blouin thinking when he says Kevin Minter is a top 3 Heisman candidate? I even enjoy Chad's show but this just seems off the wall. Anyone agree? If not, flame away...

Right now he's rated the #1 MLB for 2014 draft. He deserves to be in the heisman discussion as much as Te'o

Id say it speaks more to the lack of other candidates than it does about minter. There hasn't been one dominating qb other than Klein and there aren't any standout rbs or wrs that are putting up crazy numbers. If there is a year that a defensive player could win then this is probably it.

maybe he would not get on the field at bama - but you can only judge him by what he is doing!
like the bama people said about the honey badger - last year - two small for the pros, etc - he had more take-a-ways in two years that guys DREAM about in a career

Prove to me how you know he is right. Minter has 75 tackles on the year for a reason. He is considered one of the top LBs for next years draft. You have no logic behind your statement.
Minter is the one LB that LSU has that would fit in Bama's defense.

Im Manti Teo from Notre Dame can be talked about as a Heisman candidate, so should Minter.
