I don't have any idea whether The Orgeron has "won the team". when and where did this occur?
I do strongly suspect that we have a lot of upperclassmen who Da Coach O has not "won" and have either quit or have been effectively AWOL this year, thus necessitating the play of record numbers of freshmen...

yea, the Cajun haters are in full force and i'm tired of that also. his lineage has zilch to do with his ability to coach or not. if he was African American or caucasean and the "jokes" and disdain about his heritage were posted on here people would be outraged. the Cajun heritage is fair game appearantly.

he hasn't won me over yet but I hope he does. I saw most of the player weaknesses in this team after the first damn game and knew we had a long way to go. it was shaky for awhile but I think the trend is up. not that we will go undefeated but if injuries don't bite us again I expect a solid ent to the year with hope for a great year next year. hope i'm surprised and we have a great run this year.

By the same token his lineage should have had nothing to do with his selection as HC.
It should have been done on merit.
I have difficulty in finding the "merit" of his selection based on his resume alone. Many others here suggest his hiring was justified b/c "he talks like us".
Is the revisionism going on before our very eyes?
