Forget about our bowl game a couple years ago where a guy from UCF got a penalty for flexing toward our sideline right after sacking Burrow.

pretty sure there was a flag

Your reading comprehension is really bad. I literally state he got a penalty for that. He didn't even have his hands on Burrow at the time either.

I bet I know the difference there. I bet it wasn't an SEC crew officiating the game, thus the reason the right call was made.

Thanks for helping prove my point!

But no way was it a penalty and all of us would have been cheering our asses off if one of our D-line did this to Bennett.
correct. That's what makes this board so hypocritical.

So many things we bitch about on this board, if the jerseys were flipped, we'd be cheering.

Homerism.

but appreciate you trying to find justification to get bent out of shape

It's a textbook example of unsportsmanlike conduct according to the NCAA. Their definition, not mine.

Is reading comprehension difficult for you?

Carter purposely and unnecessarily carried JD upright for an extended period of time after the play had stopped(delayed and prolonged) all the while drawing attention (focus) to himself. His actions were unnecessary and contemptuous and therefore considered excessive.

I'm not bent out of shape and what occurred did not change the outcome of the game.

However, it's laughable that you are making excuses for what was obvious unsportsmanlike conduct.

ok, but if (a healthy) Maason Smith picked up Stetson Bennett like that and the refs threw a flag, you'd be SCREAMING BLOODY MURDER that it was a bullshite call and not unsportsmanlike conduct.

You just have be intellectually honest with yourself. Always switch the jerseys before you post an opinion.

Nope, I'd be pissed at Smith for doing something stupid that could change the game's outcome.

It was a douche move by Carter, I would feel the same if it was an LSU player.

nonsense. The board would go BALLISTIC if an LSU player got flagged for holding a guy up and wagging a finger like Carter did.

I'm sure the Rant would, maybe you would also.

Still, by definition of the rule and by any rational observation his actions were unsportsmanlike.

It was a dick move and if he had been penalized it would have been deservedly and totally within the context of the rule.

Nah. I'd be pissed at Smith for doing it. Just as I have for every other past LSU player that got flagged for being an idiot. I would also EXPECT a flag on Smith in that scenario. 11 out of 10 times it would be thrown against LSU.

I was pissed that none of our lineman got in his face and stood up for their QB. Dellinger just sat there and let it happen and looked away.

He literally set him down as soon as the whistle blew. It wasn’t prolonged in reality, but I can see how it could seem an eternity for y’all.
