Why didn’t our lineman come to defend the QB there?

We just sat there and watched it happen.

about what Carter did. If he would have slammed him to the ground, all of us and the players would have had a huge problem with that, and rightfully so too. We just have soft fans.

It was worse, he was playing with him like he was a little kid.

It would have been better for him tk actually tackle him and play football. What he did was basically make JD his toy.

I don’t see how you can see it any other way.

I don’t see how you could think this was some blatant unsportsmanlike play, other than the fact that it was the other team doing it to us. You guys are just being biased.

I can see that we have a lot of fans who never played football or sports for that matter. I swear, the ignorance inside our fanbase aggravates me more than any other fanbase.

I hate that the OL did not retaliate on him during the game.

That would have most probably been Alan Faneca's last play of the game.

Should have been unsportsmanlike conduct.

How can you not?

There’s no other way to describe it

He picked him up like he was a little kid.

I would have rather Ed him actually play football and hit him than that.

Disrespectful as hell. The entire Georgia team was laughing at us, Carter was laughing at the whole team.

How can you say that was just “a play”?

I hate when our guys taunt. I draw a distinction between celebrating a good play and taunting.

It’s not an unsportsmanlike play or anything that warranted a flag. Y’all are just being soft because it wasn’t us who did this to someone else.

If one of our DL did that to an opposing QB, y’all would be going crazy about how awesome that was. Just gotta imagine if the shoe was on the other foot.

That doesn't make it right or not unsportsmanlike. This board is full of morons, so while I do agree that posters would be saying the opposite if an LSU player did that to another player, it still should have been flagged.

Gave myself a downvote. Of course I don't advocate hurting a player.

Hopefully the team remembers the disrespect of this play and the 2 pt conversion

For what? I’ve seen way worse taunting and unsportsmanlike conduct that wasn’t called. The horns down gesture is more of a taunting penalty than what Carter did. Also football has been big on not being too rough on QBs, especially when the play is pretty much over with. That could have very well been at the back of his mind as well. Never know what the refs will call when you mindlessly slam a QB to the ground.

It was humiliating. Dude picked him up one handed and held up the #1 finger and laughing the whole time.

ow many times did HP40 stand over a QB this year? Most all of us loved it

Actually most of us said he needed to stop before he got a flag for taunting

Reminds me in a game at Bama when our QB was hit and about had to crawl off the field.

In the post game on the radio one of the former players, it may have been Marlon Favorite talked about this very thing and how disappoint he was that the OL didn't immediately retaliate. It is obvious how far this team has come this year they have a long ways to go and they need to get a alot more salty.

I've seen things not called that should be called too, but he did hold him up for no reason way longer than he had to and did the #1 thing with his finger while holding him up to bring even more attention to it. It was taunting.
