You don't want to talk nfl qbs because it shits on your opinion.

When we mention HS qbs that he turned into great college qbs, you want to talk nfl qbs. So its clear youve been weighed and measured and found lacking. Its ok though little guy. The world needs football ignorant people too. My 9 year old niece doesnt know much football either.

Again you say all that and I ask about why didn't Cam develop Rettig Jennings and Harris? I am concerned with what he did at/for LSU. You cannot convince me Cam is great at developing QBs when he couldn't get anything out of 3 4 star Qbs one pocket passer and two dual threats.

Just like Kordell Stewart & Terrelle Pryor, right?

I guess tim tebow sucked as a qb too and he wasnt developed. You do realizrealize that tgere are levels of qbs right? Just because you develop a great college qb doesnt mean he will be great nfl qb or a nfl qb at all.

At some point your teaching and talent can take you only so far.

I didn't know Mett allowed Bo Wallace to drive downfield so Ole Miss could kick a FG as the clock expired.

Because nome of those qbs are good. Nome of those qbs showed the accuracy to be a good qb. There is no coaching for accuracy. You can make small footwork adjustments to get alittle git more accurate but youre either accurate or not.
Harris and jennings werent accurate. They sucked on short and intermediate throws. There is no coaching for that.
When harris is missing on rb swing passes and easy wr comebacks, thats not on the coaches. If accuracy cpuld be taught then every qb would be accurate .

You think one fg is a better excuse for why we lost as opposed to 3 interceptions? Wow just wow.

You know that Cam hand picked Harris right? Harris was the guy he told Les he wanted. So again I asked how can you say he is a talented QB coach when he apparently couldn't spot talent? As for Rettig and Jennings Idk if he hand pick them two but I know for a fact Harris was his guy.

Randle-El was listed at a generous 5'10" and entered the draft as a WR. Getting drafted in the 2nd round made that a wise decision.

So instead of seeimg mett go from below average qb production to being one of the most productive qbs in lsu lsu history, you choose 3 passes to deem something as bad qb coaching?

Ok bruh.

Im done. You keep changing what you use to decide.

First it was his entire qb coaching career.
You were proven wrong
Then it was college qb coaching.
You were proven wrong.
Then it was college coachimg but it had to be qbs he got out of high school.
You were proven wrong.
Then it was lsu qbs.

So youve taken a coach's entire qb coaching career and chosen to use 3 years to decide if he was a good qb coach. 3 years where he had Mett Jennings and harris.

Congrats. Youve taken 3 years and decided to use it instead of using his entire career because you know youve ben proven wrong.

Im done boys for the night boys. Love yall.

Anyway, before we delve into what will probably be the most interesting spring practice for an LSU offense in recent history, let's look back at just how good of a job offensive coordinator Cam Cameron did in year one.

Overall:

The 2013 Tigers averaged 35.8 points per game and 32.3 in SEC play. Both were LSU's highest scoring figures since 2007.

The 453 yards per game was the highest average LSU has had since 2001. 6.94 yards per play was the highest average I've been able to find on record. That yardage figure dipped to 415 yards versus conference opponents and 426.8 versus ranked teams. Those averages were also the highest since the '07 BCS championship squad.

The Tigers led the entire country by converting 57.16 percent of their third downs. That total was the highest any FBS school has had since Stanford in 2010 (57.56) and the third-highest total I've been able to find on record.

In the Air:

LSU's 3,262 passing yards were the highest total since 2006 and the third-highest total in school history (2001's 4,022 is the record). On a per game basis, LSU just missed the record by .7 yards.

The 23 touchdown passes were the most since 2007.

The team completion percentage of 62.93 was the highest since '06.

The team passer rating of 164.72 set a new school record, largely due to 10.0 yards per attempt that was the highest number in LSU's modern era. The mark beat the No. 2 figure by more than a yard (next highest was 8.8 in '06).

Harris got his chances and needed a fresh start. As did lsu.

It's ridiculous to worry about him performing in a college that may just be a better fit and more comfortable stage.

I'm surprised he got to say this past year. He doesn't have it between the ears and gets frazzled under pressure. I believe he was ruined in the start at Auburn his freshman year.

Right?

I think the vast majority were just happy to see the QB throw the ball in the general direction of the end zone within the vicinity of our WRs. We all know he isn't "top level."
