Not BYU or Chattanooga so chill out. This guy has a yearlong plan. Fricking try to enjoy it. Stop hoping to see the "greatest show on turf" when the opponent can't get across the fifty. He's building the Jenga tower.

Isn't the idea to remove pieces of the jenga tower without it falling? I agree with your post-just a weird analogy.

Jenga tower was a dumb analogy but I agree, last night was the ground work on something that is going to develop. And I'm in the number of being on board with what he is doing. Do I wish we would have thrown it around a bit more? Sure, but we were very effective in what we did, and we completely dominated Time of Possession, and it allowed our defense to stay off the field and they were as good late in the 4th as they were the 1st play of the game. If we can continue to do that all year long we win a lot of ball games. Before some of these moron fans decide to jump off the I-10 bridge, they need to wait and see how this develops, because I think we are in for something special!

We were getting 4 to 5 yards on the ground at will. No reason to get cute and try different stuff. I know lsu has a lot more in the playbook than what we saw tonight.

Yes, but first you have to build the tower.

Most dont really understand, you game plan to beat your opponents. I think LSU executed a near perfect game plan.

It was our first game with a new offense. Iron out the wrinkles this week and against Chattanooga then we'll see what we are working with against Moo State

Secret playbook still waiting to be released. Saving it for Bama.

Good luck. I've always questioned this hire. Great OC from a powder-puff conference. 5 more years of boring offense. Pumpers are gushing and waving the box score. Another poster put it well: Cam Cameron with motion. Unimpressed.

That OC from that powder-puff conference beat Clemson. Clemson Beat BAMA to win the championship. What rock did you just crawl out of?

You guys chuckle, but at Wisconsin he saved a ton of wrinkles for the B1G championship game rout of Nebraska. Put up 70 on the blackshirts.

With Aranda all you need is 20 points and some ball control most games anyways.

Yeah, yeah, yeah..... and Slippery Rock can beat Notre Dame because... Pumpers love to dwell in the argumentive. Rabbits run faster than cows, therefore....

Slippery Rock should have been the 1936 national champion because they won 14-0 over Westminster, who won 7-6 over West Virginia Wesleyan, who won 2-0 over Duquesne, who won 7-0 over Pittsburgh, who won 26-0 over Notre Dame, who won 26-6 over Northwestern, who won 6-0 over Minnesota, who won the National Championship. Therefore, Slippery Rock deserved the NC Trophy.

I'm in wait and see mode regarding the new Offense. Wait till we play an SEC game and see how speed effects this Offense.

This kind of thinking is just ignorant. The ACC last year, in which Canada was a finalist for the Assistant Coach of the Year Award, was hardly a "powder-puff conference." A team from that conference won the national championship, and their teams did pretty well head-to-head against the SEC. Canada's Pitt offense put up 35+ points against "powder puffs" like Penn State, Oklahoma State (on the road), Virginia Tech, and Clemson (on the road). You know the fewest points they scored all season? 28 in their opener against...Villanova.

I'm not saying Canada is an absolute slam-dunk superstar. Those people who think he is the offensive equivalent of Dave Aranda are getting a little ahead of themselves. But he's got a pretty good track record against strong competition, often working without top-shelf talent. And the sooner people stop thinking that all football outside the SEC is "powder puff," the more informed our analyses will be.

more like a 2 year plan. Probably not much chance of beating bama this year. Oline isn't strong enough and qb isn't good enough.
