Can we talk about our rushing defense for a minute?

We all saw first hand what Dak can do rushing the ball. we completely shut down the running game, to the point of mullin fully abandoning it.

This team is going to make opponents one dimensional all season long.

It is likely that we won't see a better qb all year than Dak.

It was our first game of the year, and we gave up less than 50 rushing yards.

This defense is the truth.

Yeah, Arden Key looked like he was unstoppable as well. He must've had like 6-7 QB hurries easily. Defense was okay. They kinda fell apart in the second half but I'll give them a pass playing against a very good QB. White made the biggest play in the game when he needed to. Dropped several INTs in the secondary.

Run, run, low percentage pass, punt will kill even an elite defense. As great as they may be, our O has to support them or they'll break eventually.

BigEd is correct the rushing defense looks much improved! I think the D overall will be better in the next few games..

The middle of the D looked good. We gave up some yards around the edge a few times, but that can be corrected.

Lacouture and Godchaux both played well on the inside. Lacouture didn't get much push as a pass-rusher, but he was stout against the run.

Frank Herron looked much improved. Glad to have quality depth in the DT rotation. Hopefully we get more play from the 4th/5th DEs going forward because the ends looked gassed towards the end of the game.
