it wouldn't be a pretty site watching our linebackers and db's play so far out of position

In theory, yes.

In terms of talent, yes.

Based on the performance of the D this season, no.

Every once in a while when we would make a stop Alem would just punt the ball and give them another first down.

I would have flashbacks to the wild hog. Although they are different attacks, it would be just as nightmarish.

Actually, we were very well prepared for that game. We jumped out to an improbably early lead.

Then Roy Williams and the Marcus Randall Syndrome took over.

We've never been to a bowl game with the two-headed monster.

If they just go into the bowl game with a 'go with the flow' mentality again, they need to be put out of football. They have all the time they need to develop somewhat of a clue of what they want to do.

I noticed one of the Georgia defensive players use the Peveto shoulder tackle technique as the GT running back was treading just inside the sideline marker. He got the same results as Coleman and Hawkins. The runner went about fifty yards for a TD.

There are some high schools in LA and Texas that could score on this LSU defense.

Ok your right on that one. But the D still gave up 35 points to Texas that year.

Wasn't the secondary so depleted that Saban spoke of using Mike Clayton as a DB? Once Randall hurt his calf in the socond quarter that game was done.
