that really isnt his game. Put some damn air under the ball, let him do work

Like this?

Or like this?

I don't want to shite on the kid because he has been and will be better than he was Saturday, but that was a bad, bad day. He was soft. He'll be better.

Both o those were under thrown, yet he still had the body control to get his hands on it. First int was just a good play on D and a rip.

Second play was just how it goes. They're really 50:50 balls at the end of their day. But he does save Harris a lot I've noticed last year. Harris always throws those comeback passes. Any other receiver would hate that

Yes and no. Yes they were under thrown, but the safety over the top really took away any other alternative.

Sure, but it was a soft play from Dupre. That ball must be caught or incomplete.

They are, but they're plays you can reasonably expect out of a WR with the talents of Dupre. I'm probably being too hard on him on these plays because I generally expect him to make that kind of play due to his talents. I like him quite a bit. It was just a bad day.

He's not there yet but he's close. When he gets there it's gonna be insane.

He's good but not a Bowe, Odell, or Clayton. Right now I think he's the second best on this years team.

Like I said earlier, inconsistent hands, but also (and I hate to say this) he plays soft. Those two things are the main difference between him and Landry/Beckham (wand height).

I mean the dude has the talent. He won awards in high school for his jumping, and he could make the spectacular catch like few could. If he ever puts it all together, he'll be phenomenal.

Fwiw, I wouldn't jeopardize my career by exposing my rib cage trying to sky for overthrown balls just bc the fans think it's my fault for making the qb look bad

He will never make it in the league with that mentality.

B Harris often puts him a really bad spot so he's probably scared of getting his block knocked off like Dural did last season.

I saw a fullback leaking out for a nice dump off.

I'm probably too soft on him too. The right expectation is probably somewhere in between.

I can say he is one of the most athletic and fluid players at the position I've seen at LSU. Hopefully things click for him.

Dural and Dupre had numerous drops last year. Both are NFL talents and will mix in some big plays too. No QB/WR tandem executes a back pylon fade better than Harris and Dupre. Give Dupre a reprive, he will bounce back. Dural will beat DBs deep on straight line routes and will stretch the field. It will happen this Saturday.
