Before the game? Seriously, frick this guy and the horse he rode in on. F.King Alexander can go drink some Drano too for all I care. If we’re gonna burn it down let’s burn it ALL DOWN. Start at the very tip top and keep going.

WWL reported what a poster said, Wade refused to meet with Alleva and King. Wade did this to himself.

Wade did exactly what LSU hires him to do.

You think that they won’t suspend him after he refused to meet with them?

They shouldn't have put him in this position at this point in the season over such a vague thing.

I would have thought Alleva would have learned to let things play out, but I guess not.

I will rejoice the day he is gone.

Under advice of his legal council. Which is good advice given everything he said would find its way into a media report considering how spineless our administration is.

He had better things to do than talk to those clowns.

That’s what has me puzzled. Could he get criminal wire fraud charges?

Think about it from Wade’s perspective. He is being tried in the court of public opinion on unsubstantiated allegations while there is an upcoming criminal trial of which he is a subpoenaed witness. Anything he says to Alleva opens them up to also be subpoenaed as well. He acted on advice of counsel and as far as I’m concerned, that should be enough.

People are so freakin stupid pinning this on aleva. It wasn't him on the phone with this dickweed. And WW was insubordinate to his boss. But, WW had no choice, but to keep his mouth shut. I think that was good advice from his atty. Taking to his AD could've made it worse.

You think they didn’t know and endorse paying players?

He has to testify. Anyone that is going to testify in a federal criminal trial would be under advisement to hire legal council to ensure they dont get criminal charges.

Yeah. Let’s direct the anger at the wrong people.

Let’s not direct it to the dumbass who openly talked paying off players and their families on the phone and then when the news broke refused to come talk to his bosses to try and work it out. Not to the guy who really hasn’t come out and denied it. Just that he hasn’t read the report or please wait until the full story comes out. Yeah, not that guy

And all it took to turn the fan base to blindly support him was a single 25 win season.

All of the blame and anger being thrown around and none of it is being directed at the one guy responsible for it. This is like a twilight zone episode

Yeah, but I’m thinking more that Wade could get charged with wire fraud. Depends on how the payment(s) were made.

You can f right off too along with Alleva and Alexander.

Alleva and Alexander are why we can’t have nice things at LSU. Alleva is objectively very bad at his job. The only good hire Alleva has made (other than Wade(jury still out on Orgeron)) is Beth Torina and he backdoored into that one when his first choice backed out and stayed at Alabama.
