If Collins can convince Vadal to stay, and they offer Hawkins the starting LT spot, I'm convinced we will be strong for 2015.

After that, the worst part is losing both ends. I really hope Hunter doesn't get itchy feet. What I like, is that we have both Auburn and MSU early next year. They are both losing a lot after this year, so it is best to catch them early. Even if Prescott comes back, he won't be enough alone to get them a win against our front seven.

If just one of hunter/Kwon stay, along with one one of Alexander/Hawkins we can make a run. Hunter and Hawkins are most important recruits for miles this season. Debo would fill in for Kwon better than what is behind hunter. And we have guards to plug in but losing both tackles would hurt

This is how I feel. Bringing back Hawkins and Hunter will be Miles' greatest recruiting coup of the year.

Jennings will remain the starter at QB so we will again be one dimensional. O-line will be young, so it will take time for run game to gel. We lose one game early due to no offensive production, lose to Bama again and lose at least one other game because the ball bounces funny, we get behind and Jennings won't be able to throw the ball to come from behind.

That assumes that we keep enough starters to have some experience on defense from day one. With a dominant defense we go 9-3. With a good defense, 8-4.

Is the year the championship game itself will be played in divisible by 4?

2003/4

2007/8

2011/12

Every 4 years. That's the rhythm. we frickED it up last time, that was our chance. frick it up next year, and we'll all be 5 years + 2 months older than now by the time they get another shot.

(i agree)

I think the defense is going to leave at the end of 2015.

Yep. We can agree. We can agree we will hear all kinds of great and positive things about how Harris outplayed all college qbs at camps all summer. Then we'll roll out next fall with AJ starting and this will start all over again and everyone will say a new excuse, our OL is young. Until you see our OC on the sideline running the offense himself, we will be almost there until eternity.....

And then we'll be told how we should be happy to to have a program that wins 8 per year.

Offense could be touch-and-go in the beginning. We will possibly be breaking in a new QB (again. . .), and will have at least 2 spots to fill on the o-line.

This is the biggest concern, but unlike past years at other position groups, Les has prepared for this one. The odds are we'll be replacing two excellent linemen and a run-of-the-mill center. We have Dodd, Brumfield, Boutte, Clapp, Domond, Malone, and Austin to choose from. That should be good enough.

Until we get players to stay it will always be the case. Most likely lose 4 starters on the Oline with only 2 due to graduation.

Well in that case LSU had better darn well have a dual threat QB...

it will depend on the O-line. No matter the talent level at QB, or RB, cant do anything without a strong foundation up front. That's the real factor.

Nope.

I don't see next year's team being any better than this one.

I could see it being worse.

I don't know. A&M should be much improved. Alabama does a pretty good job of getting great QB play from young guys. But, yeah, I say we have a pretty good chance.

Like I said before, 9 out of 10 LSU players if they see even the slightest chance that they maybe could possibly be chosen by even one team on just the practice squad they are gone. Gone. So to answer your question, next year will be the same as this year.

Will reserve judgement From What I see, we still will have significant QB issues.
