Van Horn is a good coach as is Paul Manieri, Any team would be fortunate to have either as a coach. The point is that Van Horn would likely never leave Arkansas voluntarily as neither would Manieri leave LSU. These are specious arguments

He's right. One poster said Van Horn and Savage were better than Mainieri and would have better seasons than LSU. Well, that sure didn't happen.

The true test will come this Super regional....if Canizarro out coaches his former teacher.... the pressure will be on the teacher not the student..

Hope the LSU team realizes that Miss State will be pumped to win it for Canizarro so the Tigers have to be pumped to win it for their teacher

To Malaysian Tiger:

Got any trained, young docile tigers wanting to immigrate to Death Valley.... a trailer ride in exchange for living in a mansion with swimming pool and eating prime rib ?

so now you're straight up lying. sad.

link to the post where i said that.

and btw, how colossal and titanic of a failure will it be IF mainieri loses at home to a injury riddled sec west enemy with a first season coach who didn't even coach fall ball with his team because he was still on staff at lsu? what do you think the general reaction will be? bet you won't be so smug then. and ftr, i said IF, not WHEN. just wanted to make sure that's clear so you can't make up more crap in the future.

and dvh STILL has a better cws record than mainieri since 2010 so you trying to call people out is pretty pathetic

So you can't substantiate your lie. Just what I thought. You should be concerned about your comprehension. It's not so good.

I asked, do you think van horn is a significant upgrade over maineri,

You said " no question about it "

quote:

and before you dispute van horn, check the standings. lsu took the series and they are STILL ahead of lsu

quote:

not really but, they do show that van horn is absolutely keeping pace with mainieri. given the fact that some lsu fans make fun of van horn, without the facts, what does that say about mainieri?

quote:

The fact that you think savage or van horn are better than PM just shows your bias

Your response
quote:

you mean the facts show they are better?

quote:

you realize 2-4 is better than 1-4, right? sorry about that. you actually don't know that do you? is this supposed to be some sort of rebuttal to the other thread? if so, that was pathetic

referring to van horn's record

quote:

given the specific context - ABSOLUTELY. no question about it. one has been significantly, objectively more competitive in the postseason. i'm sorry you don't understand win/loss records and budgets.

referring to me asking if you would rather have van horn over cpm

1. Apparently I need to explain what the word "context" means
2. My position all along has been talk to me when the season's over. I have not once, ever said I want pm fired and you haven't ever shown that I did.

I hope that clears this matter up for good

I did notice that you totally skipped over the point I made about this weekend

you are the king of skipping over points people make to justify you own stupidity. This is the last response you will ever get from me on TD. You just got called the frick out and you are still deflecting!!! my god man are you mentally stable?
