Towards us acquiring Lane Kiffin. I don't see why he would leave Bama

I feel as if coach O wouldn't put it in his pitch if it didn't have some amount of substance.

Finebaum said Saban treats kiffin like dogshit. Sooo... Kiffin may want to go coach somewhere with more reign and not around Dick Saban or he finds a HC gig somewhere.

1-tired of sabans crap

2-wants to do things his way without any influence from hitler

3-would love nothing more than to beat him and then look like a bigger genius in doing so

4-can't get the big head coaching job he wants yet, with doing the above could help his cause

5-more money

just my thoughts, no sauces here

1. Ego. LK doesn't like playing second fiddle to Little Nicky.
2. Contract is over with Gump U
3. Be with someone he actually has a chance to shine under.

I have no optimism. Bringing in a big name coordinator is the only way to somewhat save face.

With LSU's hiring of Ed Orgeron, the Lane Kiffin-to-LSU buzz is real. I'm told that as things stand RIGHT NOW, Kiffin expects this to be his last season at UA (contract is up end of February). Also, head coaching opportunities for him aren't what most outsiders would think for a guy who has enjoyed as much success as he has in three seasons at UA, thus making the possibility of reuniting with O in Baton Rouge a very real possibility. As things stand right now, the expectation is that Steve Sarkisian will take over as OC at Alabama in 2017. Again, that's as of this AM from a source close to the situation

If he's trying to get a head coaching gig he would.

*picks up phone* Hey ole buddy, can you tell Joe you're thinking bout coming here to work for me? You don't have to actually do it, you can turn it down once I sign the contract. Thanks Lane. Sorry I tried to take your dream job a while back. Yaw Yaw.

Nick Saban gobbles up ALL the limelight at BAMA. If he wants a HC job, he needs to get out from under Nick.

Also, the perception is that Nick reigns him in. He has to prove that wrong. Doing well under CEO would accomplish all of this. CEO would get NO CREDIT for the Offensive production. Hell our own fans are already calling him useless.

Saban on his interaction with Kiffin during the game: "There were no arguments. Those are called arse-chewings".
