Lil' Johnny will be running from the start. He will feel the pressure immediately and break the pocket. Will Johnny F run enough to hurt the D and break containment?

I doubt LSU goes ape shite blitz mode. Look for a similar plan against Florida and SC.

Lets just hope that Ke Ke and Sam keep contain, so they don't have to chase the kid down from behind.

i'd be more worried about the d-linemen doing containment and blitzing linebackers....

i'm sure kevin minter will introduce himself a couple of times tomorrow...

Amen to that. Looks more like the 5'10" 180 range to me.

Keke Mingo ran faster 200 and 400 times than Morris Claiborne in HS.

Why Mingo isn't at safety/running back/tight end/linebacker/ running back is beyond me. Lol

It's not about raw speed. It's about escapabilty and vision. This kid's got both.

He might be faster straight line, but Im confident that Keke's speed will cause problems for him. Hes never seen a D with the team speed that we have. Johnny Football is a hell of a player that can do a lot of things that give teams issues. But, hes a redshirt frosh. This is the 1st time hes ever seen a DL that we have. I expect him to extend a few plays and do good things, but I also expect him to make a lot of mental mistakes. Im hoping Chavis brings out the entire playbook and we show Johnny Football a lot of diff looks.

Johnny took advantage of Florida's aggressiveness the first half of their game and made some plays with his legs. Florida took a more disciplined approach the second half and did a better job of containing him. But he has improved with each start, so it should be a great match up!

Sam and Mingo have done a really good job of playing with containment and discipline all year. They may not have the sack numbers people expected to this point, particularly Mingo, but watching them I've been impressed with how they've controlled the edge. I think it's a big part of why our run D has been so good, which is worth it for sacrificing a sack here and there.

I agree with those in this thread who said we'll play to contain him. Make him run their true offense and pick us apart, limit the improvisation and big plays where he seems to excel.

BM beats him in 100,200 and maybe 40 but JFF has a quicker burst and is more nimble.

My thoughts exactly, Bourge. I know they inflate stats, but dude is no 200 lbs.
