Can Charles Hanagriff be the LSU Play By Play announcer ....

Don't get me wrong I've met Jim Hawthorne, and think he's a great guy ...
BUT
I would vote for Charles for baseball any day of the week. Well you know, when he's not on the poker tables at the boat

I think Charlie is the future for LSU. Some ppl think his style is too dry, but he seems to be putting more emotion into it this year. Personally I like him because he brings so much knowledge to the broadcast.

Charlie is kind of dry, but you're right he does bring a lot of knowledge. I enjoy listening to him after LSU football games and I like the topics he talks about during the usually slow baseball games.

Charles and Coogan were GREAT!!! i really like the inside knowledge Coogan brings. And i REALLY like Charles doing the PBP.
And i agree, the grand slam call was GREAT!!! I was in my back yard shoveling some dirt and just started jumping around. The wife must think i've lost it!!

my favorite team by far in the booth is doug thompson with charlie.
doug knows alot of inside stuff to look for as far as players go and shite and charlie has is knowledge of stats

I 100% agree, but I may hold a little bias. I really do enjoy listening to him call baseball.....listened to him tonight before finally switching over to basketball.
