I think the beauty of cam's comment is that it brought out the full spectrum of rantardness.

That doesn't bode well for the rest of the opposing defenses when your best player is the most improved.

As I'm in Vegas right now, the question is not if, but how much I should place on LSU to win it all.

He also said Jennings is having his best Spring (as expected) and Harris has undergone a transformation. TIFWIW

Which one would guess in these situations. After having a full year in SEC play, Jennings should have improved (learned from mistakes). Harris should also have learned thd offense and how to play under control after getting some time last year in games.

We can ride this guys to 2200-2400 passing 18-20 TDs next year, I don't care what anybody says.

It's getting to the point where I wonder if there'll ever be a football thread that doesn't mention the QBs at all.

I wouldn't be surprised if the QBs had been mentioned in every baseball game thread.

LF in the last two games looked to be on an entirely different level, though he was playing against terrible D's. Earlier in the season against worse competition, he still wasn't able to perform like he did against A&M and ND. If he is in fact improving at a significant rate it is great news. The better he is, the less improvement we need from the QB position and we could use all the help in the world there. If there is significant improvement at the QB position as well...

Fournette was only bad early in the season against Wisconsin and I blame most of that on the OL. Hilliard was in the right place at the right time during that game, as he got the ball after a couple starting players right up the middle went down. Every other game early in the season, he did really well, but just wasn't given the ball much.

His games against two of the better run defenses (Ole Miss and Florida) were some great performances.

113 yards rushing 40 yard catch - Ole Miss
140 yards rushing 2 TDs - Florida

I agree that the better he is, the less effective our passer has to be. I expect his stats to be similar to Samaje Perine. I predict us to rush for well over 3k next year.

No I didn't...I just simply stated a fact. LF is phenomenal , we don't improvement at this position.
We need it at qb.

No reason to get so bent out of shape because I posted an obvious fact.

I've never seen so many people lose their minds over one of our players getting better

And learn the difference between a fact and doom-and-gloom pissing.

The most intriguing thing is the absence of acknowledgment of either QB. He give honorable mention to Chalk and Pocic but no mention of the QBs. Fournette is great already and getting better, but the coaches have little confidence in either QB

First off nobody is losing their mind.

Second, which part about LF being great and improvement at the quarterback spot being a much bigger concern do you not understand?

Why not both? Or would that be sunshine-y?

Why are you reading so much in to one comment he made about one player? He said most imporoved, not the only one who has.

This board makes more leaps about our QB situtation with stuff that ISN'T said. It's incredible.

This thread has nothing to do with quarterback though, so I'm confused why you're still arguing your point which nobody clear cares about. Do you understand that?

So you're negative about everything LSU under the "guise" of being a 'realist.'

We most definitely need it at RB, are you nuts? We also need it at QB, but to say WE, LSU, don't need improvement at RB is unfathomable.

We scored 25 rushing TDs this year. That was our worst output since 2009 (9-4). Every other year between those, we scored at least 29 no matter what the QBs did. We won 10 games in 2012 with 12 passing TDs, we won 11 games in 2010 with 10 TDs. We put up 17 TDs passing this year and 19 passing TDs in 2009, yet lost 4 and 5 games.

We need better QB play, you're right, but to say LSU doesn't need improvement at RB is asinine.

I understand Chark received a shout-out as well, but a guy who took ZERO snaps last year and has caught three TDs in every scrimmage this spring has improved LESS than Fournette?!?!?!

Easy answer.
Most logical LSU fans realize as our quarterback goes, so goes our season.
