I thought he did a great job last night in the 2nd quarter. One of his best efforts all season. In the 2nd quarter and against S Carolina he showed he really is a capable OC. I really don't think that his abilities should even be in question.

His second "A" in a row. Never thought I'd see it.

the 3 biggest issues with cameron seem to be

1. the complexity of the offense
2. his refusal to run phases of the offense unless we're perfect at that phase
3. reliance on i-formation

1 and 2 seem to be coming along. this is the last QB he gets the excuse of having to bring along slowly b/c we get franks next year to study while harris finishes out his likely final year + we have mcmillan with 2 years in by that point

3 is a miles issue more than anything and it is what it is

Our offense this year is actually more efficient than the 2013 version... of course, we'll see how that holds up in December.

with his progression so far, after another year the only thing holding back harris from a 1st round grade is volume

i think we all agree that he's being eased into things this year with an increasing load and that easing period won't be necessary in 2016

What Cameron deserves the most credit for is that Brandon Harris did not make a bad decision against a good Florida defense that I can recall.

I use to project Harris would leave after his Junior season, but I don't think so any more.

I believe he will stay his Senior season and try to up his stock

If he keeps playing like this, it'll be a toss-up for sure IMO

i mean it sucks in that we wouldn't have him for 4 years but it's like JR....if he develops that well, it will mean good things for our team

chi is also going to be "the guy" next year and obviously we all expect LF7 to be leaving. if harris develops and hits his potential (especially in THIS offense that is complicated as frick), he has nothing left to prove...and if he stays he may be taking a huge risk based on other talent that is leaving

One thing last night should have taught any coach or would-be coach.... on third and very long (22+ or so) just heave the damn ball very long down the field and hope for the best.

It always kills me when coaches concede with a handoff up the middle.

he did call 1 good screen

but most importantly, THE SLIP SCREEN IS BACK

now we just need some bubble screens and the Jimbo-era magic will be back, baby

absolutely (esp with our punt game)

but i get mad because if you're near midfield, 3rd and 22 can EASILY become 4th and 5-8 b/c Ds often give that 10-15 yards to you

fricking take what they give you and go for it on 4th. it's the statistically-valid play

I'd like to see Diarse get called on some screens because of how strong he is, but he just seems to be regressing.

I loved seeing the 2 back set out of the shotgun.

I was hoping to see that little slip screen again to LF7. That was a thing of beauty.
