It's not being pessimistic. It's being realistic. You believing that LSU will have a better record than I believe they will have at the end of the year does not make you a better fan than me or does not make me a bad fan. It means whomever ends up being correct understood this years team better than the other person. No more or no less.

No it doesn't. It just means you guessed correct.

That is not a correct quote of what I wrote about the Ole Miss game.

I picked them to go 12-0. I thought they would lose the rematch v Florida in the SEC c g.

I would now be happy with 11-1 and the SEC west championship and beat USCe for the SEC berth in the Sugar Bowl.
play TCU in the Sugar.

10-2 at this point wouldn't be so good. First, we have Ole Miss, ULM, and McNeese left on the schedule. If that ain't 3 wins, we need to pack it in.

As for the remaining three, I hope we don't lose 2 of 3. That would be a bad weekend in baseball, for sure. So, I'm ok if we win 2, but I'm hoping for the 3.

I had us at 9-3/5-3 at the start of the season, but I figure we stand a good chance of finishing 10-2 now—a record I'd be quite happy with, provided we play well and appear to be well-coached the rest of the way.

11-1 or 12-0? If we finish with either of these records, I'll say that Miles has earned the right to a few more years as our HC—well earned them in fact.

Are your predictions just a shot in the dark all the time or are they based upon what you think you know or understand about the particular subject? I think these answers to final record are more predictions based on things people believe they know or understand about this team (right or wrong) than just out right guesses.

I don't know why everyone thinks that Arkansas will be our toughest game. It's still gotta be Bama. With that being said I think Auburn is not nearly deserving of how good people think they are. Cam Newton is good but I dont really think Auburn is. Arkansas has been slacking the past couple of weeks, maybe they aren't as good as people think too. I say it's still gotta be bama.

11-1...which I am extremely happy with after the beginning of the year

I totally agree with you on this, but get ready the haters already have miles on the first flight out of Baton Rouge after next season; no matter what his record.

I think better sense will prevail in the end.

14-0 & another NC

Does this also imply whover had the right powerball numbers knew what was coming better than those who didn't?

13-1

I think we run the table in the SEC but lose to either Oregon or Nebraska in the BCS title game.

I get what you're saying, but one person's prediction on the final record being right over someone else's who only missed the correct outcome by 1 game in no way shape or form means the correct person knew or knows more about the team than the other.

I probably know more about the Tennessee Titans than anyone else on this board. I'm a huge fan and have been following them since they arrived in TN. I understand Jeff Fisher's coaching method and I know how the players react to certain situations.

If you and I predicted the rest of the season's outcome and I missed it by one game and you got it correct, it doesn't mean you "know" more than me.

Getting the right prediction vs. the wrong prediction is one injury away, one fluke miracle play away, one horribly missed call by the refs away, etc, etc, etc... from being right or wrong on the prediction.

In sum, if LSU goes 9-3, not 10-2 or 11-1, it by no means you know more about LSU's team play than others who predicted wrong.

Currently 6-0
McNeese W
Auburn W (Auburn coming off 2 difficult games)
Bama W(Home field carries LSU)
ULM W
Ole M W(Tigers owe them 10 straight beatings)
Arky W(Hogs worn out and on their arse by 11/27)
SEC Title vs. SC W (Miles shuts Steves mouth)
BCSNC W vs. OU(Miles hoists crystal and hits recruiting trail, signs No.1 class.
14-0
