This team's confidence is sky high after Florida. A good showing vs McNeese and then a win in Auburn could propel this team's confidence enough to run the table.
Not saying it will happen, but it very well could. That being said, I don't see us dropping all three of Auburn, Bama, and Arky, so I will say no worse than 10-2.

You really think LSU will lose to Ole Miss this year?

9-3. I see us losing to all the "A" (Ark/Ala/Au)teams left on the schedule. I think it will be a monumental task to take even just one of those, but certainly stranger things have happened. We should beat OM but even that game will be a nailbiter!

This is likely, especially if Miles continues to keep his head up his arse and insist on playing Jefferson 50% of the plays. I saw 4 plays against Florida that Jefferson messed up by missing wide open receivers for big plays. I think Lee hits at least l or maybe 2 of those plays and we win by 3 touchdowns.

Miles is so disrespected that his decision to start Jefferson is the lead intro into this mornings ESPN Sportcenters!!

My preseason thoughts were 10-2. I figured going to the swamp would be difficult, and I gave us room for error in the second half. Since my swamp prediction fell flat on its face I have to go with the same thought process on the back half.

If we get by Auburn next week then our schedule is very kind to us. We should be able to get out perfect. I'm going 14-0(SECCG+BCS)

No matter what people say, bama is still our toughest test left. Auburn will be exposed this weekend.

Either we lose to Ole Miss and then fall to lower bowl game with a match up that we can win, or we beat Ole Miss but get a bowl match up that we lose.

With the last two years against Ole Miss and also what Nutt did against Miles at Ark I am 50/50 on that game.

I hope Miles continues to have a chip on his shoulder and coach with some attitude and a little anger, but I feel he is already feeling that he proved his point and will end up taking off a game or two and therefore at least lose one game that he has no business losing.

So I guess your implying that it is okay, or that he has "business losing" to Ark, AU and Bama?

Teams which were FAR better than this ole miss team.

Pessimistic pieces of garbage like you are the reason that people think LSU fans suck so bad.

Our ST was exposed last week by UF. Hopefully it was a one time thing, but big returns by them and fumbles by us do not put us in elite categories.

It's not really pessimistic to suggest Ole Miss will give us a game. They always improve during the year under Nutt and even the worst Ole Miss teams seem to give us a game at Tiger Stadium. Ole Miss will never be a gimme.

11-1 with loss to Arkansas. Beat USCe in SECCG. Beat TCU in Sugar Bowl.

Final at end of year...13-1.

Start next year with JL as QB and go undefeated and win the MNC.

You heard it here first folks!!!

If you put it that way it sounds pretty negative, but I guess you are technically correct. However, I do feel much better about them than I did before UF, but not good enough to be irrationally exuberant. This team still has a long ways to go to be good enough to take all 3 of the A teams, but I think realistically considering 2 of those 3 are on the road and that Miles is still Miles, I'm being very realistic in us not getting any. I believe that Arky, Aub, Bama are all better than Uf at this point and time.

Well technically if Miles is being Miles then we win 2 of those 3.

I believe the quote was that we LOSE to ole miss as well as a bowl game to a "lesser opponent". Thats pretty damn pessimistic.

I think 10-2, which is great considering I thought we'd be 9-3 at best. Arkansas is by far our toughest game IMO. Chances of winning:

Mcneese 95%
Auburn 52%
Bama 50%
Ole Miss 70%
ULM 99%
Arkansas 35%
