There's an App fan on an FCS site that is actually predicting App to be up 28-7 at half and thats the only person that i've seen that says that App will be winning at any point in this game. That is delusional. 
As for the shirts, whats the big deal about it? Kinda cliche and probably could be seen as a promotion to poaching little striped kittens.

it would be different if someone had shot mike VI in his cage. then i would be offended. i had family that lost their homes to Katrina. but i'm not offended when they show hurricane coverage on the weather channel

I don't think they are. But, you have to realize that Michigan was more highly regarded going into the 2007 season than LSU is going into the 2008 season. They're used to winning. They have confidence.
That's why I like this kind of game more than I like a game between LSU and some FBS/IA bottom feeder. At least LSU is playing a team that's accustomed to winning big games and really believes it can win this one.
