Call from Boone N.C.......

Just had call from one of our "family" who's visiting N.C. and stopped in at App State campus. Said he spotted more than one gold tee-shirt with "Tiger Hunt..083008" and crosshairs with stylized tiger head on it. He remarked on swagger factor of atmosphere. Here's to a hard fall for the visitors come "083008"....

i take offense to this as we had a shooting near campus. i believe they are making light of that situation by suggesting they are going to come to our campus and shoot guns.

Hey Bro, your friend was in Boone, on ASU turf. I'm sure our students are just building up a bit of good natured school spirit. I can only imagine what the LSU student body, fraternities, etc. come up with for their game day T shirt. I bet there will be some kind of Hillbilly reference.

I have a friend that goes there and is coming down for the game. His girlfriend is staying in Boone and the students are going to watch it in their stadium. They really think they are going to win. Seriously.

You can't blame them. If they are good fans, and they are presented this opportunity that may never happen again for a 1-AA school. They have got to come here and have supreme confidence. Hope that lightning strikes twice, but I think they plugged that hole last year.
