Calgary, AB = No college bowl games?! Tiger Fan Needs Help!

So instead of being in NOLA like I SHOULD be, I'm stuck in Calgary, Alberta for the NCG. I've already confirmed that the Shaw cable provided by my hotel will not be showing the BCS National Championship game on any channels, just like they haven't shown the Rose, Fiesta or any of the other bowl games. Complete bullshite imo
The idea of watching the game alone in my hotel room was bad enough, but now that I know I can't even do that, shite is critical. I need some help; any Calgary savvy Tiger fans know of LSU/college football friendly bars in this city?

Streaming it online sounds like your best bet. That or find a bar that has a satellite.

Try Barley Mill or the Garage. I know they both show NFL MNF.

You should be able to watch it on ESPN3 online???

I watched every bowl game today on Shaw. ESPN feeds are picked up by TSN/TSN2 in Canada; they'll definitely have the BCSCG on.

The BCSCG is on TSN, and that's on Shaw's basic cable plan for Calgary that's channel 21. In HD it's 219. Pretty much everywhere should have it available; if you can't find a bar nearby then Boston Pizza has sports bar section and will usually put LSU games on the big screen if you ask.

See that's weird because TSN (channel 21 in my hotel) was showing Juniors Hockey during the Rose & Fiesta bowl, I couldn't find any college football.
After searching the TV listings again, I did find that TSN is showing the BCS game, so I can ATLEAST watch from my hotel.
Thanks for the help guys, any suggestions for places where Tiger fans might congregate in this town?

Try this guy's house.
Yeah, or his dad's basement, "The Dungeon".
I'm sure Old Man Stu Hart will have several gumps down there forcing them to watch the arse whipping LSU is going to give the Gumps. If any of them give up and turn away, they won't be able to make it in his Stampede Wrestling promotion.

Oh yea, right now it's the same shite, Juniors Hockey instead of the Sugar Bowl.

Just turn on ESPN, when I was in Vancouver last year, I watched a few bowl games on ESPN. Log into the rant, someone will have an internet feed.
