The Ragin Cajuns just fired their defensive coordinator after one game. Why is that important? Because they have a good coach that figured out that if it's going south, you don't wait till the end of the year. Cam Cameron should be in the same situation.

At this point, why not? Let's throw Craig a headset and let him have a chance. We already know what we're gonna get with Cam.

Or as people say, Miles sets the tone for what they can fo

It may not solve anything. But at least to me and other people on the outside it will appear that are doing something

I think getting rid of Cam at this point is the best move, but not mid or early season. No way a new OC can install any kind of offense the second week in, unless it's basically the same offense which would be pointless. I think the fans would freak out if this season ends up 8-4 or 9-3-ish and Les was kept and brought in a new OC, but I think that's probably the best move.

Les needs to keep Cam. They can all get fired together. I don't want Cam fired now Bc then they might keep Les to give him another chance with a new OC.

What about ESPN? They need to clear it too.

There are enough components within the offense that bringing in someone else could render real change. Gameplans, timing of play calls, play calling philosophy can all generate drastically different results without overhauling the offense. One need look no further than the last time cameron was let go to know that this is true.

I think anybody can get in the I formation and run power. I don't think it would be that hard to create. just put in a very small package in one week. Let's be honest we don't have to set the world on fire just five or six decent plays to keep the defense honest.
Number one, a Sprint pass. Moving the pocket seems to be a novel idea. number two, a bootleg since we are the only running team in America that has no play action off of it. Number three a Jet Sweep, we have the fastest receivers in America. Number four, Speed option out of the spread. Let Harris do the one thing he can do. And lastly, some read routes for the tight end. I think these few simple plays that everybody in junior high in America runs would blow the minds of LSU fans

based on his experience as a quarterback.
Until you have gotten behind Center, you do not know what they go through on a daily basis.
He knows what is a hard throw, what is a easy throw, when to take risks, when not to take risks.
He has had the benefit of trial and error playing that position in the SEC

Haven't seen many LSU games have you?

Many OC 's have come and gone. Offense stays the same.
