-Our WR's need courage
-Moore needs to come back for us to have a chance @UA
-Ritter & the SEC will screw us
-Our defense lacks focus
I'm far from a sunshine pumper. But relax people.

I think we just really want to beat Alabama.

I think it is restlessness for the fan base, while I suspect the team actually uses this week to take a break from all the pressure.
Sure, there are general concerns that remain about the Tigers, but at the end of the day I think they have a huge upside. On offense we've been able to watch the best running back and probably overall player in the nation. Brandon Harris seems to be gaining confidence, and perhaps is really beginning to gel with his receivers. The OL has been absolutely dominant, and is still looking to shuffle guys around to find an even better mix. The defensive line has shown great progress by creating sacks, and Debo has really stepped up at his LB spot. The secondary has great cover corners, and I think Mills returning will really shore up deficiencies in zone coverage.

I'll just post again about how Beckham, a junior, botched a punt at UGA.

This is the first time since '11 that I've felt really good about LSU playing UA. It's just rather suspect for us to already be looking at all the things that could go wrong on Nov 7th. But you make a good point about the fanbase being "restless".

Honestly I'm glad the game is on the road. This fan base has major Bama PTSD and given the heartbreaking losses it's not hard to understand why. if it were in BR the crowd would go to pieces with a "here we go again" attitude the first time bama caught a break.

I'm just gonna post "Catastrophe syndrome" in every thread.

I'm actually feeling the same way. Even against Florida when it got tight, I never had am impending sense of doom. LSU has controlled every opponent they have played. The one exception is when MSU rallied back in the first game of the season. Since then, the Tigers have been able to dominate at the point of attack. They have also been able to answer when hit in the mouth, and even take over with large scoring swings.

I feel like I did going into the 9-6 game. I thought (almost knew) we were gonna win. Few picked us and were touting Bama as the unstoppable force. Honestly, I don't see any trickery or smokescreen in this game. We have the best player on the field and he will do what he does. He will solidify his Heisman on November 7. We win the turnover battle and Coker makes the crucial mistake or mistakes. Harris uses his legs to extend plays. Our wr can run and get open on anyone. They already proved that against the best secondary we will face. Brain fart, ill advised throws to a wide open DB that's returned for a td doesn't really impress me. We caught a glimpse last week of what you "cannot do" on Alabama. Tennessee shot holes in that theory. I honestly don't think Fournette can be stopped to the point of abandoning or significantly altering our game plan.

Agree on all points. Bama is good but they aren't some mythical unstoppable force that some rantards make them out to be. If we play a clean game, we will win.

They never have been. How many undefeated seasons? How many times did WE blow the late lead. Sans 2013 with Mett's crippling and a heavy dose of DJ welter "the car chasing dog", they've not outclassed us. Media perception fuels the legend and fear. Great program with a damn good staff and an assload of talent.
I'm talking about both ^

Is it weird that I want LSU to win without creating a turnover, or receiving a huge break on a penalty? I get tired of the Gumps not giving credit to the opposing team, and claiming that they beat themselves. The Tigers just need to go out and dominate. Leave no doubt who the better team is.

This. Big time.
