That the NCAA is cracking down and disposing of anything that may seem like a possible violation.

I think they've gradually been losing authority on the whole issue, tbh

What else besides the video game? The video game thing was all about money. They wanted a piece of the action and EA wouldn't meet their price. Nothing at all like the BUGA Nation situation.

I'm certain our compliance people asked the NCAA for an opinion on the issue, as long as we comply with their opinion we are fine. You let the regulatory body define the rules and then stay inside the lines.

Exactly. BUGA Nation will NOT be a problem for LSU. Some people are acting like LSU will get the death penalty over this.

It's called hyperbole. (that means I exaggerated)

The message that I intended to send was this:
Some people (you being one of them) are acting like this will cause problems for LSU.
I, like most reasonable people, think that this is no big deal and nothing will come from it. LSU's compliance department will handle any issue that may arise.

Eta: This is meant for Broski. IDK how I responded to myself

No, I think it could cause problems for Fournette (which can be argued would cause problems for LSU if worst case scenario happens and he is ruled ineligible for an amount of time).

Ah, so because you have a different opinion, it means you are the reasonable one, got it.

That's why I quoted it. It's a broad umbrella. But he's directly linked to the slogan and more importantly, directly linked to his parents.

Of course I think my opinion is reasonable. Don't you think the same about your opinion?

I'm not pompous enough to label myself as reasonable in a debate.
