Yeah, I don't believe this will be a big deal if they close up shop before August.

Oh Nike can. Look at the Denard Robinson Nike Shirts with the dreads. They claimed it was generic, but it was obvious. Same with only selling popular number jerseys.

I thought they made the "NCAA" sports games for Xbox and Playstation.

Eventually, it was ruled that they broke NCAA rules.

Not anymore, thanks to all the lawsuits from former players, EA Sports said frick it and won't make college games anymore.

Can you not see where the trend is going?

I seem to remember the honey badger shirts were stopped with quickness by the compliance office. I see no difference with this.

My guess is, his parents are behind this. Which would make it legal. But its the NCAA so who fricking knows.

Thats because LSU wanted the money, it wasn't Tyran's parents.

They do, and they'll have a number 7 on the game next year that will be exactly his height, weight, and will be a baller.

if it is an issue it has nothing to do with pre-college, during college, etc. It is a question of amateurism.

I think that may have been the licensing office...

What Trend? First you brought up Michael Jordan's kids and now EA Sports. I don't see how any of the stuff you brought up relates to BUGA Nation. But whatever. I say this is no big deal and LSU's compliance people will not allow it to become an issue. You obviously disagree and think this will become an issue. Agree to disagree.

Eta: the closest thing I see to resembling this is the honeybadger stuff.

That depends on if Fournette is getting "an allowance" from his parents based on the money they are making off of the merchandise.

It becomes even more murky if Fournette shows the hand symbol during a game on national TV.
