So I’ve been living in Arizona for 6 years now. My wife has become a big LSU fan over those years. We were stoked to find out LSU was invited to the Fiesta Bowl.

Anyways, my wife was asking me where would eat before the game and I told her we will just find a tailgate and make friends. Well she thinks that doesn’t really happen at LSU games. So what I would like to know is if anyone plans on tailgating for the game, where, and if my wife and I could stop by. Thanks and GEAUX TIGERS!

Walk around anywhere in the lot and find an LSU fan with a black iron pot out and you'll be fine.

Pretty sure you can't tailgate on the lots for the game like you can for on-campus games.

That said, maybe some of this info will help:

LSU FANS: Salt Tacos y Taquilla will be the hub for LSU fans and alumni on Gameday and will be LSU friendly all weekend long. Please expect crowds before and after the game. On game day there will be LSU themed Southern Comfort drinks for fans, custom LSU Alumni decor, and a DJ playing all the fan favorites (fight song, etc.). Opening at 7:30AM and serving Bloody Mary’s, mimosas, and breakfast on game day. No cover.

First post so I will forgive you for not including pics of wife. Once.
I expect this to be rectified quickly.

Assure your wife that Tiger tailgating while almost unbelievable is uniquely like that. Geaux forth and, “Laissez les bons temps rouler.”

I don’t want to wreck his home, I’m just making the traditional TD pic request.

But you got me on the “prevert” charge!

This was tailgating rules for a previous Fiesta Bowl
quote:

Tailgating in stadium parking lots is limited to the space directly in front of or behind your vehicle. Fans cannot purchase extra parking passes for tailgating. Alcohol is only allowed in designated tailgating areas. Fans can bring propane or natural-gas grills but not charcoal grills. Glass containers also are prohibited. Private catering or the sale of food or drinks is not allowed. Tailgating is not allowed after the game.

It also said that you cannot tailgate in the parking lots at Westgate or Tanger Outlet mall(where many people park for the games).

The Great Lawn at the stadium....where people usually tailgate for Cardinals games....is gonna be off limits for tailgating since the Fiesta Bowl fan fest will be set up there.

Right On!! I am taking my fiancé and my son to their first LSU game also. I always thought that game would be in Tiger Stadium but since the game came to me (been living in Scottsdale for the last 14 years) I couldn’t pass it up. I’m excited for them to meet all the wonderful CoonAsses tailgating outside the stadium and get a taster of that Cajun cooking

My wife's first game was the SEC championship in 2005. I almost got into a couple fights.
