I honestly don't recall one person saying he was leaving. Only that if offered he would leave...which of course he never was.

Too many people are claiming vindication for something that never even happened.

Not trolling here, maybe I haven’t been paying attention, but where did you hear this?

I know it's the internet where people just make shite up but anyone who bags on Moscona and Liucci for making shite up then turns around and does the same thing is a moron

Everyone is comparing this hire to Freeman, but you could also compare it to Ryan Day. That’s an example of hiring from within that seems to have worked!

Also, who was UM going to hire? There really isn’t a coach out there that would be a slam dunk hire that they had a legit shot at getting. The only ones I can think of are Smart & Kelly, neither of which were options. Sark or Lanning is not a slam dunk in my opinion and again not really an option, and if you get down to the Kiffin level you’re reachng. They didn’t have any great options.

This will work out for Michigan as well as David Shaw did at Stanford when Harbaugh left there.

Win a championship, then make a woke hire and never sniff a championship again. I like it.

What’s woke about this hire?

Or is “woke” the new N-word for closeted racists?

Nice choice by Michigan

A good offensive guy could have given the Underwood kid second thoughts. That was my concern with the kid growing up in Michigan's backyard. I love the hire because I think it helps us hang on to our young stud.

I mean why shouldn’t a guy with zero big time HC experience be named HC of the defending national champ.

Bizarre.

Moore has never been a head coach at any level of football. No top 5 team would ever have made this hire 10 years ago. Why do you think Michigan hired a totally unproven head coach?

Yes we don't bat an eye when they hire an unproven white coach.

Please give me an example of a top 10 program hiring a white head coach with no head coaching experience. I’ll wait.

They want to give a bright coach an opportunity…like Oregon did Dan Lanning and like UGA did with Kirby Smart. Were those woke hires, or nah?

Lanning was hired by Oregon. Not a top program and definitely not coming off a championship. Oregon was ranked 22 in the country when Lanning took that job.

Kirby Smart was DC at Bama for 8 years and literally had won 4 national championships before he took the Georgia job. Again Georgia was not coming off a championship had generally underachieved prior to Smart.

These are not remotely similar situations to Michigan hiring Moore. Moore was a TE coach in 2020. He then was OC for an offense everyone knows Harbaugh actually ran.

Try again.

How about Ryan Day. You pick apart legitimate examples to try to prove MI went “woke” with their hire. I’m done with your racist nonsense.

This is on par with Charlie Kirk stating if he gets on a plane and sees a black pilot he's going to fear for his life because of affirmative action. Because they would never hire unqualified white pilots, would they?

Ryan Day is closer but stil not the same situation as Michigan. Ohio State hasn’t won a championship since 2014 but I would say they are considered a top 10 program.

I’d also say Ryan Day hasn’t done a great job and was close to getting fired this year. He’s more the case why it’s a bad idea to hire a guy without head coaching experience at a major program.

I also appreciate you illustrating that people who immediately allege “racism” universally do this when they don’t have any other good argument. It’s basically a law of science at this point.

I literally gave you three examples, ya racist clown. UM hires a black coach with no head coaching experience and you cry woke. I show you three top 10 programs off the top of my head that have done the same with white coaches and you stumble over excuses. So in other words you rationalize it when a school does it with a white coach, but you can’t find your way to rationalizing it when a school does it with a black coach. Just consider it for two seconds.

You really aren’t very smart. You mentioned Georgia hiring Smart. Georgia was not ranked in the AP and was 24 in the coaches poll the season they hired Smart. You mentioned Lanning at Oregon. Oregon was ranked 22 the year they hired Lanning. Ohio State is the only one close to supporting your argument since they were ranked 3 the year they hired Day and Day has underwhelmed. So clearly most championship programs are not hiring unproven head coaches like Moore.

Now that I’ve shown how stupid you really are, go frick yourself race baiting cocksucker. Also, I’m going to love seeing your excuses when Moore does poorly. I’m sure it will be someone else’s fault since you never have to take responsibility when you can just say “muh racism.”
