Anyone have a video of breg's homerun vs mcneese from the other day? A buddy of mine that plays for mcneese said it was the hardest hit homerun he's ever seen. Was hoping someone took a video if they were there. Thanks!

Bregman hit it so therefore it is the hardest ever.

I mean it was a nice homerun, but if it was the hardest hit he's ever seen he needs to watch some more baseball.

He was still in the batter's box when it hit the wall.

He's already finished by the time the ball hits the ground.

Yeah the live video feed really didn't do it justice. I think Channel 9 in Baton Rouge had a field level highlight that put it in perspective.

How about a better, less-misleading thread title? Such as, "Does anyone have video of Bregman's homerun?"

I was there. He smoked it pretty good and it got out on a frozen rope but I doubt it was the hardest hit.

LSU is using "ball speed off the bat" technology. Don't recall the name of it.

Do they post the data somewhere for public viewing or is it locked away in a vault underneath Tiger Stadium?

The data should eliminate all speculation.

It's from TrackMan and I doubt it is published, but the Baseball Ops directors have tweeted about it for several years now.

Scanning Nolan Cain's tweets it looks like the HR was 104 mph which is the highest exit speed he mentions except for a double Bregman hit earlier in the season at 110.
