Why don't we talk about Schimpf? Why don't we talk about Will Harris's struggles and getting yanked from the closer job? The "if you don't like the thread don't open them" is the dumbest thing ever. There is nonsense spewed, and people freak out over small things. Bregman is one of my favorite players ever, I own him on my fantasy baseball keeper team. The fact is, every one wants to constantly critique and analyze every strike, every swing, everything!

One of the bylaws of TD is don't start a thread just because a random thought popped into your head. There has literally been 20 Alex Bregman threads in the last week...this could EASILY be posted in one of the other threads.

Last time I checked this is the only Bregman topic on the first page and the only person whining about this is you. This thread isn't just a random thought either it's displaying a stat that the poster wanted people to discuss. No offense to Schimpf and Will Harris, but Bregman is a more popular former LSU player. I'm sry (not really) that the topics on TD isn't to your specific desires.

I wish the best for him. Reps LSU big time and I'm sure he stays for extra swings after batting practice. Hope he breaks out of it.

The pitchers he has had to face early have been outstanding.
Sabathia, Tanaka, Pineda, Miller and those relievers.
Verlander
Dickey - knuckleballer

He will catch a break at some point and get it going.

I was at the series against NY and have watched all games except last night including replays. His first game could have easily been a 2 HR game. The first an was a file out to left but a mile high- he just missed it. In Detriot the game where he go his first hit, there 2 other balls that could have been hits. Look through the box scores at line outs to center and left. Also, I remember a shite sort of that robbed him of a hit.
Add I. At lease 5 -8 hits and his average would look much different. I live in Houston and have season tickets. He is just missing pitches early. Now they have the book on him, he looks worse because he hasn't figured out how to adjust.
