Since there is alot of military talk about discipline, what happens to a leader who willingly violates rules and allows/encourages those underneath him do it as well?

Let me beat them to the punch:

"have you ever broke rules before???"

No. Game day coaching is different.

This situation validates the possibility of a players coach getting taking advantage of for being a nice guy.
Very ironic that being a decent human being would put him in this situation. Actually a sad commentary of today's society.

Depends on the situation and you well know that.
Some generals have been decorated for disobeying orders and winning battles.

Tells you a lot about the character of the team IMO. When seniors are leading the way to the bar breaking curfew setting the example for the freshmen...

And I'll bring it up again - you do realize that Skips players regularly broke curfew while in Omaha playing for a national title right?

I wasn't in the military, so I'm asking straight up, what happens to them...one says relieved of duty.

Anything else?

Not that I can remember.

And if I did, I guess I was smart enough to not be caught

No, I don't know well that.

If "relieved of duty" is a possibility, then JJ being relieved of at least Council duties is a start, right?

Well, that person most likely wouldn't be in a leadership position anymore.

Can't follow a leader that is breaking his own rules ect

Did they go out and beat the shite out of some people at 2 am?

Talk about some stupid kids. "If" JJ was that stupid, what does that say about his ability to be a leader let alone his intellectual ability to play QB?

You don't fricking suspend them, you run them and keep the matter in your own house. We called it Breakfast Club and it was fricking awful.

I don't disagree with anything you are saying, but the great thing about a curfew is it makes it an easy decision for the coach to suspend someone. I apologize that I don't know what your past involvement in a college program was, but you would probably agree that not all players are treated equally? There are dog houses and favorites and golden boys, etc. If you're in the dog house, breaking curfew can be the end of the line with the right coach.

breaking curfew is one thing...no big deal....

breaking curfew and getting caught,,,eh no real big deal either...like you said, it is handled.

now breaking curfew and getting caught because you did something fricking retarded..... that is a big deal. Dont try and downplay it.

For not just the players directly involved, but for all the players. Yes, a few dipshits can ruin it for everyone.
