I can never really figure out what makes people say Harris has a "higher ceiling". Do they really think that Harris or any other QB that age has some hidden talent that we have yet to see despite all the hours of practice and all the games he's played? This is as good as Harris will get and it is not as good as Etling. Accept it.

Well, I have a ton of respect for him wanting to finish as a tiger.

What about at least using him as a holder to get some reps and possible provide some options if there is a muffed snap or fake options? Give those guys some PT and make stay prepared to play. If not him, use McMillan, Scott or one of the other QB's that hold a clip board. They have to be a better option than the average punter.

Did you not watch Danny Etling throw the ball all year?

Kid does not have the mobility or arm talent to beat big time defenses. Good game manager but won't cut it in big time games.

Last year before the Bama game Harris was pretty good. He has way more tools to work with than Etling, If he can improve his accuracy he's easily the better QB.

Harris has certainly struggled at times but to completely write him off with a new QB coach and system coming in would be ludicrous bc he certainly has more ability than anyone on the roster

I hope he gets his degree and has a successful life even if he never plays another down as a Tiger.

If he is the best QB then I hope he has a great year

I hope Coach O let's Canada choose who he thinks can best run his offense. Not just go with Etling based on experience. Go with the guy who can make plays.

Good news, need depth at the position. But I hope they have good competition during spring and fall practice.

that's a big if. Also he has to get a lot better at checking down and finding his targets. He needs to get better at managing and taking control of the offense as well. But he does bring better tools than Etling, stronger arm and faster runner (though I'm not sure he is a better runner than Etling). He needs to improve his running as well and being faster and more decisive in recognizing when to run.

Etling seems to have the advantage in a lot of areas right now but who knows what will happen over the course of the year. I hope and would expect that they will both be much improved.

Kid just needs some poise in the pocket. Calm down and make the play

Wrong.. He has more arm strength than anyone on the qb roster..that's not the only measurement in ability as a qb

I think his biggest problem even over accuracy concerns is that he's just a tad late on most throws. I've heard that he is a smart kid, so he may be thinking things through too much. He doesn't seem instinctual playing the game.

If he can? He hasn't shown he can and his college career is almost over. If he doesn't have it yet he'll never have it.

Things and situations change.

He says he wont transfer now, but things will change after Spring practice and he'll leave.

Book It...........
