Brandon Harris shows polish in summer 7v7

I've popped in a few times this summer and watched BH in the player run 7v7. Unlike the manning camp, he's throwing to his WRs, versus LSU DBs. It's only 7v7, but he looks really good. Very confortable. At 222, he is boasting a more prototypical frame. I'm hoping that the pieces line up for 2016.

But he can't hit the golf carts in stride.

Brandon Harris is no where near 222

Golf carts are notoriously slow starters and gamers. They always look better in live action than they do in drills.

Have you seen him in person recently?

I haven't, but BH himself said that he's put on 10lbs to his 206lb playing weight in 2015, and would like to be at 222lbs for the 2016 start.

last year's 206 number was bullshite much less 222. I've seen enough practice photos and video to know that. I'm taller than bharris. I'm larger than him. I'm a lower bf% than him. and i don't weigh that.
Trying to compare your body composition to someone who's been in an LSU football strength program for 3 years is absolutely absurd.

This is a HUGE deal, especially as it pertains to the option game/the ability to take licks.
If he steps into fall camp at ~225, he'll play at around 220. Perfect weight for him.

HE weighs no where close to 222. Why would it be hard to fathom that I would be larger or have more muscle than this kid?

im with you. I'm sure that 222 is quite inflated. I don't know where that number came from outside the original post but if lsu is reporting it you dont even have to think twice, it's inflated.

I don't think I'm huge but of course its my best frame of reference. You fan boys are hilarious. All im saying isn't sniffing 222 unless they weigh with every ounce of equipment on him.

A pound of fat and a pound of muscle weigh the same.
Fat takes up more volume than muscle
