Prescott:
156/267 (58.4%)
1940 yards
10 TD
7 interceptions
126.6 Rating
80.7 QBR
86.5 Adjusted QBR

Harris:
149/277 (53.8%)
2165 yards
13 TD
6 interceptions
130.6 Rating

59.4 QBR
67.4 Adjusted QBR

I assume you chose QBR because you researched ahead of time and found that to be the only statistical category that Dak was clearly ahead of Harris. The bold text indicates the better result for that QB. Let's ignore yards, TDs and interceptions, right? Those don't matter.

All that shows me is that the passer rating is a poor stat outside of the NFL. QBR is better.

what about yards, TDs, and interceptions?

Throughout the year I was not upset by Harris' performance at all. He has me scratching my head from Bama on because prior to that he was quick with decision making and accuracy was continuously improving then bam.

Who knows if it was the injury or getting beat up after going undefeated. I would really like to say it was probably the injury. Because even in the face of average and bad defenses in A&M and TT he still didn't look all that great. Especially the A&M game he was atrocious. Would have blown then out the water had he just played decent. TT be looked better but still shaky.

That's why I believe it was more the injury that the jitters. Not to mention he's getting his deep threat in Dural back and Dupre. Not to mention a few towers in this year's class that will likely see the field in when they run certain packages. Let's just not forget the sky was not falling before the Alabama game. So considering the season hasn't started I say take a note from Aaron Rodgers. R-e-l-a-x.

Not to mention D should be improved this year with Aranda and that talent. So it will take some pressure off Harris.

What was Dak's team around him like? I don't think anything is wrong with Harris. I think there is something wrong with LSU's scheme that makes it difficult for QBs to execute.

Oh, I see. Those are all recent threads about Harris. I thought you meant you've seen this kind of thread about previous QBs where it didn't pan out the way we hoped.

You were right in those threads.

This author obviously stole your work. He could have at least put you in the cliff notes.

In all seriousness you are correct in the fact that most QB'S get considerably better as they mature within a system. Lets hope that Brandon does this and we are in for an extremely exciting season.

That stats do not support this conclusion. If anything is says

Dak Prescott = Brandon Harris at the same point in their careers.

Brandon Harris is very likely to be the Starting QB for at least another, maybe 2 years. I would be surprised if he doesn't have a much better year. I just hope we establish the passing game early next year.
