dont forget the super punt ugly formation that had Pep Levingston as the head hunter trying to tackle Gilbert Arenas in the open field.

screw it, he'll lock down NLA for us because of his successful run at NWST. He's basically a legend in the area

From your link...
quote:

Peveto will assist defensive coordinator John Chavis on defense, but exactly where has not been determined yet. Chavis, who has been LSU’s defensive coordinator since 2009, has been coaching linebackers since 1989 at Tennessee. Peveto may help defensive line coach Brick Haley. Peveto last coached the defensive line when he was Arkansas’ special teams coach in 1994 and ’95.
If this article is accurate, we can more than supopose Peveto will get his hooks back into the LSU defense after all. Plus he's ST coach, and according to some of the ranters posting in his defense, single-handedly got UK their best recruiting class ever.

Just don't look at his previous on-field coaching track record at LSU and beyond. Those things are simply irrelevant.

BDP will probably help out with defensive ends. Brick may be gone after next season and BDP may assume that role.

If this comes to fruition, it's of great concern to LSU.

Or you could just realize that no matter how much you cry, he'll still be hired. People are trying to look for positives. There's no point in being negative, accept the hire and move on.

Yeah that's it. LSU will be short handed with coaches because Miles wants him to coach d-line. Where do you come up with this nonsense?

The job was to be for DL and STs. Nothing to say that Chavis won't change who coaches what. Brick likes to coach LBs, but got stuck with DL. Don't think it matters. Miles and BDP must have something going, as he hired him before. He is a nice man. He is a Texan....we wanted a Homeboy. But...we move on. You know Chavis did not want to hire a former DC. How will that work???? Hope we don't lose him.

Brick was an NFL d-line coach and was hired here to coach dline. He didn't get stuck with it.

Why would Chavis care about a former DC being a ST coordinator and possibly assisting with dline or lbs? You know Brick was a DC once too right?

I know your upset that your guy Daye didn't get the job, but your talking out of your arse with the losing Chavis shite.

Kick Return 111, 59, 93

In 06 LSU averaged bout 1 yd less per return than the team listed as #1 in KO return leader and 3.5 yds more than that #1 team in punt return per the ESPN stats.

What gives with that? What reference are you using?

BDP was a co-DC with Doug Mallory. The failure of the 2008 defense was not all on him. I don't think it will be a problem with Chavis. For those Les Miles haters, obviously he is not too bad if BDP left and then came back.

Yeah I'll bet getting a pay bump and out of a horrible football program was a tough decision
