You can't be horrible and finish top 5 (2009)in the sec in qb rating. IN 2009 JJ FINISHED 5TH,IN THE SEC ,IN QB RATING. YOU CAN'T BE HORRIBLE AND ACCOMPLISH THAT. His 2009 season is the 9th best in lsu history. THESE ARE NOT MY OPINIONS. THEY ARE FACTS. it's a fact that only 5 lsu qbs have a better career compl % than jj. So yes 58 % is good. It's a fact that only 4 lsu players have more total tds. It's a fact that only 5 lsu qbs have thrown more tds than JJ.

you are one dumb sob...and a sob that loves him some JJ. You are either JJ himself, or some dumb cousin of his. It's like you can't comprehend the fact that longevity is what led to JJ's rankings, certainly not his production. He had one DECENT year in 2009.....the rest were pathetic....and you are on here calling him one of LSUs greats.

On second thought, you sound just like JJ....remember when you would have a game where your threw for 100 yards and completed 50% of your passes, and say you thought you played great? Remember when you used to say you had LED Lsu to X amount of wins???? LMAO

This throwing in skewed stats (which are based off of longevity). I'm smart enough to understand how stats work...but I would be curious as to some of the QB's that finished BEHIND JJ in those stats....I'm guessing there were some really good ones that only played half the games as JJ, or even less, and therefore did not make that magical top 5. I see you aren't willing to post those names because you know that you would get laughed off of the board even more than you do now.

You would be surprised yourself, dumazz kid, if you really knew who you were dealing with.

Every single time you post, it makes me think of a 20 year old know it all kid that doesn't have a clue yet.

Holy shite. When the frick have I ever said JJ is one of the greats? I've repeatedly said, in this thread, that JJ wasnt a good qb, but he didn't suck his entire career.

If he had one decent year, the. He didn't Suck his entire career.
Longevity doesn't help your career qb rating.
Longevity doesn't help your career compl %.
Longevity doesn't help you yards per attempt.

In no way am I saying JJ is one of the greats but he wasn't horrible his entire career.

You really need to give it a rest on the JJ talk.. He is long gone and WE are all tired of you repeating the same fricking thing over and over... We get it... You are in love with JJ... You keep saying he wasn't a great QB but keep brining up shite that matters very little right now.....

Stating facts about JJ'S career doesn't mean I'm in love. It's called reality, boy.

Well, but the thing is...he's right. Tigerinthehollow keeps saying it was longevity. Longevity doesn't help the stats that he is pointing out. Total tds and total yards, yes...but the phenomenon on the 3 and done player has really just came to the forefront in the past decade or so. Sure, it happened before. But not with the regularity and expectation it does now. There was a time when it was expected to have a kid for 4 years, and many QBs played a ton of games for LSU.

There is a level of hate for JJ that is unrivaled compared to any other LSU player. It was that way when he was here, and that way still now. Same as for CLM. Any attempt to not shite on them is seen as irrational fandom or personal ties by some of our fans who have that level of hate. It's funny to an extent. I can see them with spit on their upper lip as they are screaming at the computer screen with their face all red because someone disagrees with them.

Regardless of the talent along the D-line 2011 vs upcoming 2015, a player like the Honey Badger comes along once in a decade or more. He is a factor to the equation we can only hope will arise from one of the 2015 DBs.

I have made up my mind. That doesn't change the fact that your statement, " he wasn't gold and that's a fact" is an opinion and in no way a fact.

Switching gears, it's nice to see how well Booger seems to be doing in his new career. He's insightful and people like hearing what he says. He has credibility with the coaches and players. Kind of wish we could get a newspaper guy like that to replace Dellendoosh, who does not give us any good insight and seems hellbent on screwing up whatever he can with LSU football. Looks to have no credibility with the coaches or players. This program and LSU fans deserve better than Dellendoosh.
