Yes you can, and I've already told you that as of now, if he starts his remaining time at LSU, then AJ is on course to break all those magnificent qb records that JJ currently holds. LOL. You really don't get the fact if you play 50 games at LSU and throw for 110 yards per game, that you will have more yards than the qb that threw for 200 yards a game but only played 25 games. Unbelievable how stupid you are over this. As I said, AJ, will very little to no improvement, will pass up JJ......if he starts all the remaining two years....let that sink in genius.

comical that you always post this. Even when proven wrong, you still post this year after year....even though Miles is above 50% in covering....of course, we all know that you are very good at this and know exactly WHEN to bet against LSU....lmao.

So...undefeated season just to shite the bed in the championship game?

I think, at this point, we would all be extremely happy with that! That would mean undefeated regular season, SEC Championship game win and first round playoff win. I'll take that right now. Who wouldn't? Just hope it wouldn't be Bama again in the championship game disaster. Also, with the youth of the team, it would probably mean a good run at the championship for the next 2-3 years.

I think we can all agree that winning the West, preferably the conference is what everyone who pulls for LSU needs to put all the bad mojo behind us.

The after effects of 1/9 still linger, but we can finally see the trend reversed if we can accomplish the above. I think that we will have enough elite talent over the next couple years to do just that, even if we don't beat Bama.

I'm ready for this cloud to leave the program.

I disagree. The 2015 offense should be much better. That 2011 oline was B-A-D! Did any of those guys make it in the NFL? All of the 2015 lineman will likely make NFL rosters - and three of them will be on NFL rosters NEXT YEAR.

The 2011 QBs were god-awful. JJ simply could not think fast enough to run a passing attack, and JL lost his courage. You just can't play a guy like that.

The 2011 offense, paired with an average defense, would have been far worse than LSU's 2014 offense.

Actually our qbs in 2011 had a good year their combines stats were

165/267
2043 yards
62 % completion
20 tds
5 ints
7.6 yards per attempt

Which would've ranked the 2011 season as the 10th best in lsu history. Our qbs played well enough to win in 2011.

You can't be serious.
In 2011 LSU ranked 19th in offensive tds pee game.
We were 7th in the country in points per play.

Jennings would pass JJ in most categories just by continuing where he is, with perhaps a 5% increase in productivity. Let that sink in dumbas

Except no he wont.

If he has the exact same numbers he will never catch JJ in career completion % ( which is not skewed by throwing more passes) or qb rating( which isn't skewed by the # of starts).
He also won't have the 9th best yardage season in lsu history like JJ did in 2009.
Again I'm not saying JJ was good. I'm only saying he didn't suck his entire career.

He is ranked like an average qb is supposed to be. He is 5th in starts and is 5th or 6th in every major passing statistic in lsu history. If he was horrible his entire career he would be no where near the top 10.

Honest question, how old are you? I'll let you pass if you are only like 20 or 21 years old (or even younger). Please don't come back and say you are 25-30. Seriously, how dumb are you in real life? You really don't get this do you?

Let me break it down into more simpler terms.

Jordan Jefferson threw for ONLY 34 touchdowns, despite starting games in each of his 4 years at LSU......34 touchdowns. Jennings just played his first full year of football and had 10 touchdowns..........and by almost everyone's account...he was very bad last year. If he does not improve ANY over the next two years, assuming he starts...he would finish with 31 touchdowns.....JJ only had 34....LMAO....

Also, it's a no-brainer that Jennings would beat him in yardage if he were to start the next two season....not even debatable.

You are seriously bragging on a 58% completion rating......is this real? Unbelievable.

Look guy, yes, for the last time, YES, JJ was horrible. YES, you can be top 5 or 6 if you play enough games.....I just pointed that out to you with Jennings...what part of that do you not understand. I'd like you to throw up the names of really good QB's that JJ finished ahead of due to longevity of starts....and have the board laugh at you even more.

Seriously, you aren't the brightest bulb in the fixture if you really believe what you are saying. Certainly, at a minimum, you have absolutely no idea about how stats really work and how they can be skewed.

GOOD GOD. Please tell me you are 18 or 19 years old...please.

If the defense is nasty like 2011 and the offense can run on all 8 cylinders we can win most of our games. What do you think?

Most? MOST?

If our defense is 2011 good and our offense runs on all 8 cylinders, we will win EVERY game unless we're playing in the NFC West (then we'd be, like, 10-6).

Our 2011 defense was a magical, nearly unstoppable monster with an offense that was at the very least sluggish at times. There's no way anyone in college football could come close to a team that performs like that on defense AND is consistently "all 8 cylinders" on offense. Such combinations simply don't happen in reality; teams that even come close to that are the stuff of legend ('04 SC, '01 Miami, '95 Huskers, etc.).

This year's defense will almost certainly fall short of the mark set by the '11 squad, but could still be the best defense in the country. Our offense should be more consistent and dynamic than the '11 offense, but could still be middle of the pack nationwide. That combination (among the top defenses, middle of the road offense) should easily win us most of our games, and put us in contention for SEC and National Championships.

We must be getting close to the start of the season-This thread has almost all of JJ's family and Les fanbois up in here. All we are missing are BeeFense and boxcar

Actually I respect what Miles has done with the program, but I wouldn't cry with a change. I defend him because of the standard he's kept over the past decade, but the guy is infuriating at times with his stubborn attitude and the "want" for the dual threat qb.

Because JJ didn't start for 3 years.jj has just over 2 years worth of starts.

THAT 58 % COMPLETION IS THE 6TH BEST IN LSU HISTORY.
So yeah its impressive.
quote:

Jordan Jefferson threw for ONLY 34 touchdowns, despite starting games in each of his 4 years at LSU......34 touchdowns. J

Yeah those measly 34 passing tds ranks 5th in lsu history.
You do realize JJ was a running threat too, right?

He ranks 5th alltime in total tds.ONLY 4 PLAYERS IN LSU HISTORY HAVE MORE TOTAL TDS.
quote:

Look guy, yes, for the last time, YES, JJ was horrible. YES, y

You can't be horrible and finish top 5 (2009)in the sec in qb rating.
IN 2009 JJ FINISHED 5TH,IN THE SEC ,IN QB RATING. YOU CAN'T BE HORRIBLE AND ACCOMPLISH THAT.
His 2009 season is the 9th best in lsu history.

THESE ARE NOT MY OPINIONS. THEY ARE FACTS.

it's a fact that only 5 lsu qbs have a better career compl % than jj. So yes 58 % is good.
It's a fact that only 4 lsu players have more total tds.
It's a fact that only 5 lsu qbs have thrown more tds than JJ.

The defense will be a big problem this year. They don't have the talent. Down to six lineman, are you kidding me
