#LSU spokesman Michael Bonnette confirmed earlier today that all assistant coaches are expected to be on the sideline. We'll ask Les, tho..

I know this was brought up a while back, but I remember there still being some speculation on Aranda.

All coaches? That's quite unorthodox.

Assistant coaches. Maybe I should edit.

Aranda and Cam considered "assistant" coaches?

Steve Kragthorpe was in booth for bowl game. Probably going to have your non-coach analysts upstairs. Like the move.

Who is going to be the eyes in the box for both sides of the ball?

Figured D Craig would be on the sideline for sure, but maybe not? Coach O and Aranda are both sideline guys, so maybe Corey Raymond or Peveto?

Idk, but someone will always be in the box for the offense and defense.

Well shite they don't need headsets then, with no one in the press box.

Les on all assistants in the press box: We'll have young coaches upstairs (I assume he means GAs). #LSU

LM on assistants on the field: Most of our full-time assistants will be on the field and have younger coaches up in the booth

It sounds like the grad assistants will all be in the booth with Cam Cameron, Dave Aranda going to the field to call plays from sidelines.

Offense probably Ensminger

Wait....I thought Les is stubborn & unwillingly to change or take advice from others? This quote can't be accurate.

I was a big advocate for this. Put the GAs or a guy like Franklin (obviously not anymore) in the box. Gives you get coaches experience and the assistants on the field provide immediate feedback and energy on the field. College is more of an emotional game than the pros

Big fan of Cameron on the field. Definitely paid dividends in the bowl game. I can understand why he prefers the booth however at the college level he needs to be able to look the kid in the eyes and go over things on the dry erase board. Not try to do everything over the headset.

Def Ensminger for O

Toss up between Raymond and Peveto for Defense... Already have Aranda (Backers) on the field... But he is special teams so that may not work...

Peveto would be a tough call. I cringed every time i saw him go to Miles. I knew one of the next few plays was gonna be bad. Could you imagine how it would be if he was ALWAYS in Miles' headset?

Seems like they need someone who is in sync with the coordinator and communicates well. But what do I know.

Speculation as in Aranda maybe being in the booth? Surprised that was ever speculation. Aranda spent his entire career at Wisconsin on the sidelines.
