i agree i never thought he'd end up producing like this

he's a jumpshooting fat big man. the reincarnation of oliver miller

i'm happy for him, esp how he's transformed his game to mask his limitations in the NBA

I was optimistic that Davis could hang in the league for several years as a guy who can't be moved on the block reserve ... but he has far exceeded anything I ever predicted. Good for him!

You want fat, go to a TD.com party. Glen Davis isn't fat. He's big. There's a difference. A big difference.

Remember when almost everyone was saying he should concentrate on football and play O-lineman...coming out of high school I mean. Amazing how far he's come in bball...

Nice job Baby...

You are a complete arse, sonnyboy. "Limitations?"
Funny that people around the NBA, who are somewhere near a billion light years ahead of you in judging talent think Davis is improving to the point that he could be talked about as one of the leagues best players in a couple of more seasons.
Oliver Miller? Yea, sure sonnyboy, you keep right on putting him in that class. Oliver Miller couldn't carry Glenn Davis's jockstap.

You have to realize that SFP has an agenda the size of Sears Tower. He says stupid comments to get people riled up. He does it all the time and if you respond to it, you're adding to his 800,000+ posts.

Big Baby is a good NBA player and he'll be there for years and he is about to get PAID this offseason. Go head Big Baby, always been a believer.

Good for him!

I think we all knew he was better than he was showing.

He's gonna get a nice fat new contract, especially if he keeps producing.

"Oliver Miller couldn't carry Glenn Davis's jockstap."

I have no problem with folks taking shots at SFP's backhanded compliment, but I would not underestimate how talented Oliver Miller was. I think he was something like 6'10", very strong and had a super-soft touch. Yes, he battled weight problems, but Miller could play.

SFP is dead on right. he does have limitations. He's relatively short for a PF/C and doesnt have great athletic ability. He's work his arse off on developing a jump shot, which is good because at LSU he could have built a house with his bricks. It says a lot about Baby to be able to improve in the areas that he could actually improve in

I still think he would have made a hell of a left tackle.

Negatiger. The kid bleeds purple and gold. Future all-star.

No, quite frankly, he's not.

He'll never make an All-Star team. He fits his niche very nicely in a pick and roll system, but he's still a defensive liability and will never be a first-player option. The best I see for him is David West-like, but only as a team's third option because he's not as athletic as West or as good of a shooter.

I would really love to see where these "people" are saying that. Not trying to be an arse I really am curious, I've seen nothing of the sort.
