Bo Rein Story

I wonder what might have been.......

I remember being at the camp when we heard about the crash.
We were pretty sad because we were looking forward to seeing the guy coaching in TS.

When people talk about the Tigers decline in football fortunes after Cholly Mac was fired, few remember that one big reason was because of the untimely death of Bo Rein. Jerry Stovall was named as Bo's replacement, but his efforts were hurt by the fact that Rein had hired a staff of coaches and Stovall had no choice but to work with them.

It was a horrible time in L.S.U. football history and one I will never forget. The ghost of Charlie Pevey!
