Sat next to bill Walton last night on my flight back to San Diego. I have a Lsu luggage tag on my briefcase, he noticed it and we started talking. Told me how much he enjoyed the town when Adam played there. he had a lot of respect for dale brown and we talked about what a pos lester Earl was. He mentioned he like what Johnny was doing and hoped the fans would go out support.

I know csb but the guy was pretty cool and positive about lsu, figured I'd pass it along.

Come on, that was no foul! It may be a violation of all the basic rules of human decency but it's not a foul

I've heard him on air saying that kind of stuff about LSU so it's legit. Gotta be a very interesting human being to speak with.

Nice...

I love listening to Walton calling games. It's a blend of basketball, music, and history lesson all told by a hippie.

Would be awesome to sit by him on a plane

love that old story about Wooden seeing him in street clothes minutes before practice was about to start,"why aren't you dressed" "going to the protest, the VN war blah, blah, blah" " wow I appreciate your passion and conviction, that's awesome, good luck in the future, it was great having you on the team" :Walton gets dressed out for practice

I don't like the guy. He may be the worst announcer in the history of sports (not counting pro wrestling).

If he is announcing a game, I either turn it off or mute it. He picks a favorite for that game and has the most slanted commentary I've ever heard.

But, I'm glad you sat by someone famous. Actually, I'm impressed he was gracious about LSU.....so I like him a little better now.

Screw LSU, you should have talked to him about something that mattered, like the upcoming final shows of the Dead.
