What percent of the people in Tiger Stadium on Saturdays live in BR? Probably lower than you think.

That has nothing to do with ur ridiculous statement. Maybe u haven't lived in BR and Shreveport or maybe you are just of low intellect. But the PERCENTAGE of lsu fans in BR Vs SuckPort is much higher and it's not even close. And that's a great sig cause it just sounds silly and I needed a new one, no offense.

Ive lived in both. I made a valid arguement. You use the term sucksport and say things like "that sounds silly." I think its extremely possible that 70% of Shreveporters are LSU fan. And due to a larger population in Baton Rouge and other Colleges in the area 70% or less could support LSU. Its not silly. Obviously there are more fans in BR. No one is arguing that.

Shreveport is lower and BR is higher. There is no question about this from what I've experienced.

Living in Shreveport/Bossier for 18 years and attending LSU and living in Baton Rouge i would say that those numbers are pretty close. I'll even throw in the "there is no question" line to validate my claim. But you didnt even think out my statement is the problem. Even if you disagree, you have to admit the percentage numbers cant be separated by more that 10%. Plus i said "probably", meaning it wasnt definite. You act like i said something crazy like there are more black people in the US than in africa.

I've had the privilege of meeting Mr. Moran and I have to say that he is an outstanding person; him and his wife are some of the finest people I've ever met. He's on the TAF Board of Directors and can talk football with you until you're blue in the face.

2.5 years For PA school. Look I don't hate s'port it's a nice melting pot, but i'd rather be back home. I met a lot of cool people there. But I went out a lot and met more fans from other schools than I do in BR/Northshore.

"Techs greatest football accomplishment of the last quarter century is a 24-16 loss to LSU"

Not a Tech fan in the least but they Beat Alabama twice within a 3 year span in the late 1990s, including a win over their outstanding '99 SEC Championship team.

The number of lsu fans in shreveport will nosedive if the cowboys can ever get back to the promised land.

$50,000 an acre

Not to get off topic but I find this a little hard to believe. I don't think any company anywhere around here leased anyone for $50,000/acre. I'm In the oil & gas business and nobody got $50,000/acre in this area.

The Haynesville shale bonus/royalty amounts have gotten super embelished. Ive noticed that Shreveport people are prone to doing this.

I know a few who have gotten north of $20k/acre out in Greenwood. It depends on a LOT of variables. If they are actually drilling, setting up pumps and compressors, etc then it wouldn't be a stretch at all for $50k/acre.

Clames, I am sitting on a well site right now. Working for a flow back co. Every land lease that is agreed upon is done so with the intention to drill and extract the natural resources available. Please do no discuss what you obviously have no clue about. Drilling, compressors and pumps? Every aspect of every stage of every step of getting a well into production involves all (in some form or another) of the above. The more you get per acre the less you get % wise in royalties and vise versa. The big sign is amazing I swell with pride twice a day when I drive by it. I am not a land man so I am not familiar with specifics but I do not think 50k/acre is far-fetched.
