I was wondering if you guys think she should feel the pressure after the recent success in women sports?

Let this season play out …although she’s on her way to another mid-pack SEC record of 13-11 or 14-10. wait until next year when she has ro replace most of the team.

They are #3 RPI so should get a top 8 seed this year

I think we can all agree that she has shown who she is as a coach. We win consistently but I don't think she has it in her to take the softball team to then next level. So if we are okay with a WCWS appearance every once and a while, then she will stay if not it has been time to move on.

The culture will have to change and the recruiting, there isn’t a SEC player on the bench as a position player not 1

As long as they don't mess up these last two weekends they are in line for a national seed.
She definitely needs to get out of regionals and should be able to do that.

Super Regionals are a toss up but you have to like LSU's chances if they can host.

She will be back unless she decides to leave on her own for another job.
She has the top pitcher coming in and some young players ready to get more playing time next season along with the portal to add some veteran type players.

I think she's done enough to keep her job.

It's not natty and bust.

Beth is a terrific recruiter. Recruiting rankings below:
Class 2022 #1
Class 2023 #5
Class 2024 #3
Class of 2025, ranking should be in top 10 again, 9 commits.

But can she coach/win the big games, that's the question. So far she hasn't gone over that hump. She is LSU's winningest coach, but she is no Patty Gasso. Sometimes timing, luck, and softball god's need to come together to get that elusive NC.

She should. There are two of the more major sports at LSU that people are going to be looking at the contribute to LSU's 52 national championships and counting. Softball is one of them. She has to make headway this season. I really feel like it's the same as it was for gymnastics, if not now, then when? If this team doesn't have a good postseason, it's probably time to move on.

With the exception of the posters on here that care about softball, nobody else with any authority gives 2 shits about softball. She will be the Head Coach until she resigns............IMO

She makes 425k a year. If she doesn’t make it to World Series this year I think we should move on

Hey Beth, how many runs are you going to allow before changing this pitcher? You can’t get fired quickly enough

That tell me she has been around long enough to win the important games, like the tournaments or playoffs leading to a national championship.
The math helps to solidify her as the winningest coach ever in softball, but we don't want to settle for just a bunch of wins every year with no chance of a championship.
Remember Nikki Fargas? Time to tell Beth, see ya later...we need greater!
