If LSU fails to make it to Atlanta next year, then Les will have only gone there 1 time in the previous 9 seasons. That is what is amazing to me.

LSU's loss mathematically eliminated them from it this year, so that is no 1 time in the last 8 years, when he got full control (all his players) of the team.

Miles needed to go after 1/9. It has gotten worse ever since. No expectations to win anything nowadays, not even a crap bowl against ND. Geezus what a drop.

You couldn't fire Les after that game. There is a difference between underachieving given your talent and expectations, and blowing a national title game. The problem is people ignored that as a warning shot and we are now stuck with him until at least 2019.

The fact is that outside of Cam's first year, Stud's first year, Crowton's first year, and Jimbo's second year, LSU's offense has been mediocre to bad over the last 11 years. This year it was fine, but the competition helped people overvalue it.

personally think for the good of the program, a change should be made after this season, but I know that won't happen.

What's the lifeblood? Recruiting. If they aren't swift with this in bringing in a new staff, that all goes down the toilet. With so many jobs open it could be a long process. That's not better for the future when LSU has a legit shot to reel in the best class Miles has had.

On top of all that, it will still have to be a good hire and pray that someone on the new staff has a relationship with said recruits.

Make no mistake Dak was a huge project out of high school .He was very bad at all things QB. Mullen made him what he is today. Developed his skills and somehow recruited well enough to Vegas to bring in some pieces for him to play with. I like how Mullen has grown into the job and his offensive philosophies . We could and probably will do much worse

give it a rest... miles is staying and we're just going to continue to get amazing recruiting with awful gameplans

however, I could easily see us parting ways with cameron

There will be plenty of holes in this team next year, don't let recruiting rankings fool you.

Sadly this is true, and yet another reason we need a coaching change yesterday.

Mind adding some substance to your rebuttal?

Oh that's right, nobody cares what you have to say.

Uh, maybe not...
Um, how many of the 14 other SEC Teams have made it to Atlanta since we last did??
Quick little trivia question for you.

The best way to take care of Miles is to fire Alleva and let Miles take his place. Guy would be a great AD and is a terrific ambassador of LSU. Heck is there recruiting restrictions as an AD?

Alabama, Auburn, Missouri, Georgia, and Florida (this year)

That puts is in the same company as State, Ole Miss, Arky, aTm, Kentucky, Vandy, Tenn, and USCe.

Les Miles needed to make it to Atlanta this year, badly.

and this is what I was saying earlier.

Some ranters have reduced LSU's expectations to Ole Miss levels the last few years.

Somewhere along the way, LSU fans were placated.

SEC record got worse every year. Pumpers used to hang their hat on Miles' bowl record....but that has recently been "Clemsoned". They say that Saban increased our expectations, when in reality, he only reduced their expectation.

So is Steele going to 'magically' become a championship caliber DC, because I haven't seen it this year out of him.

Boosters said they have enough $ to pay the buyout. Try again

Hanagriff says a lot of things and Boosters claim to say a lot of things. Do the boosters have enough money to handle the buyout on Fisher and couple that with Miles, buyout along with Jimbo's 6-7.5 million salary? Do you really think Jim Flores and the Penningtons want kick in that much money because those are the people with the deep pockets for LSU.
