I'm a Georgia alum and will be making my first trip to death valley next year, looking to book a room well in advance. where's the best place to stay? looking to be near the stadium and bars.

TIA

The Staybridge Suites on Nicholson is the only hotel near the stadium. The Embassy Suites, Doubletree and Marriott are near College Drive and there are numerous restaurants and bars near them. The Renaissance is a nice hotel too.

Anywhere (including NO), just show up early and don't overschedule yourselves.

You could stay downtown near 3rd street and Uber as close as you can to the stadium. It's only a miles away. Plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance

Lod Cook is usually booked about a year out for football games. That's what they told me anyway

I prefer gong south after the game so Renaissance is our preference.

I highly recommend it.

Lod Cook is on campus. If you can get in, I would stay there. Otherwise, I would stay downtown. It is easier to get on and off campus from the north. some buses run from the downtown hotels to the game I think.

Stay downtown. Watermark Hotel, Hotel Indigo, Hilton Capital House, Hampton Inn and Suites, and Holiday Inn Express are all downtown.

You can ride special city buses to and from the game for $10 a pop.
