Allowed the teams to be physical but still controlled the game. Little to no Ricky tack fouls. Consistent and even officiating on both sides throughout. I will take that crew every game.

Agreed. Without a doubt the best officiated LSU game I have ever seen. They could’ve easily turned that into a FT contest but allowed both teams to play physical

Called a mystery foul on the Tigers late in the game but I think they let the Tigers get away with one to make up for it.

It was fine. The one bad call I thought led to Ark missing a front end eliminating the issue.

Going to the monitor to make up excuses to steal possessions wasn’t very good officiating. Those refs were awful.

Allowing physical play from the refs will usually benefit LSU. We are probably one of the most physical teams in college basketball.

It wasn’t horrible, but there were multiple obvious calls missed including a couple of travels, one out of bounds, and an offensive interference that was key

I disagree, I think they missed a lot of obvious calls. But it worked in our favor so GEAUX TIGERS

I agree 100%. There were some shitty calls both ways that, in this tiger’s mind, probably went against LSU more BUT they let them play physical, real, basketball.

There is nothing worse than watching college basketball and every touch is called.

The refs called it like a tournament game and I wish every SEC game is called the same.

I loved that they let them play, but that foul called on LSU during the loose ball scramble late in the game was unbelievably bad. No one could honestly think that was a foul on our guy. But Arkansas missed the front end of a 1 and 1, so it minimized the impact of the call.

They let them play a little too much at times like when an Arky dude power bombed Fountain from the top rope on a rebound early in the 2nd half. But I'll never complain about refs not making the game about themselves for once.

They had a good block call on an LSU drive in the 1st half that would be an incorrect charge call 99% of the time.

Agree, I loved WW but we were never going to get a fair called game with him here. A hole SEC office made that clear.

I was thinking the same during the game. If Wade was coaching this team how many more calls go against us.

That said, watching both sides of the ball (all season) I like our coach. Defense statistically wasn’t as big a problem as people make it out to be with Wade. But a lot of times I couldn’t figure out what the hell we were trying to do on offense with Wade other than isolation.

Wrong. The refs sucked big time.

Lol we are lucky Arkansas couldn’t hit any free throws to end the game. They only made like one shot the last 4-5 minutes of the game. Tic tac bs fouls got them free throws over and over

Was at the game and live it looked horrible! IDK what you were watching maybe the Liberty Bowl? Multiple ghost fouls. Lots of missed calls down low on both ends. Mystery no call on body control by Lurch followed by a body control on the floor on Reid. Then the call against Williams who went straight up with position and got all ball. Just pathetic. Miller slapping Black on the in bounds with that swim move to separate himself. These guys showed CMM what he has to beat in the SEC besides the opposing team.

It was horribly officiated tonight. Could not disagree more with your analysis.
