Kelly connections too. that actually seems like a realistic outcome if House and Harbough both are gone at the end of the season.

Does he have prior experience with Kelly? I see Cincinnati and Notre Dame.

Yes at Cincinnati. Kelly was HC there during his time there, but he was only a ga.

Minter as DC and Michigan’s current DL coach and longtime former Kelly assistant Elston joining him?

Don’t you think if Harbaugh gets canned or jumps to the NFL that’s gonna be their first option

Even tho they won't even look his way or consider him but Ron English from Louisville has a better resume and Louisville has a really good defense this year.

Isn't this the guy whose defense gave up 51 points to TCU last year? The Horned Frogs scored 7 points against Georgia in a 65-7 loss.

I don't think it's wise to judge a guy by 1 game and trying to use the transitive property never works like you think. They held both Ohio state and Penn state to 23 and 17 points last year.

Michigan's opponents' average pts per game last year was 16 pts and 7 this year so far. That was ranked #7 and #1 respectively in the country. Still have Penn state and Ohio state left on the schedule for this year though.

I definitely wouldn't be upset with that hire considering who all is likely to be available at the end of this year.

I'd consider English in a co-dc role like he is in at Louisville.

Let him coach the secondary and call plays. Then pluck someone else like Robinson from a&m and give him the co-dc title and run game coordinator.

Utah DC would be great here. The style he play fits Louisiana and LSU defensive culture. Aggressive and coming after yo ahh. Utah try to punk teams with aggressive defense. That's that LSU swag were missing.

It’s just amazing how much coaches change jobs. My son’s a recruit and it’s literally impossible to know what coaches will be at a prospective school. I guess you try and follow the coaches, but who knows what personnel situation they’re walking into.

I wonder if they pitch ‘their guys’ to schools when out looking for a raise. ‘I’ve got the #1 ______ willing to follow me…’

Personally I want Blake Baker and surround him with the likes of Chevis Jackson and bring back Cain or keep Lindsey. Want Baker just based on what he did with Damone and woukd love to see what he could do with Perk and Weeks.
